The fact that this guy might be dead depresses me so much that I don't touch SDT anymore. I always have such comfort in people being busy online, working on projects, making something they are passionate about, it gives me hope in life. I work on online projects a lot in the modding community. I consider some of those people my friends, I get work related updates but also bits and pieces of private life and everything is always so secure. Updates keep coming, people make progress in their personal life and get through difficulties. It's incredibly unsettling to me to see one of those sources of updates to just cease because the person working on the project has died. Maybe noone in his friends even knew he made a flash game with a large following. If he even had friends. Maybe he had bigger plans and great potential.
I just hope his death is a hoax and he wanted to destance himself from the project.
Someone should ask the people of the Programming WAYWO nicely to recreate this game. :v:

Personally I thought it'd be more of a documentary/biography thing, exploring the development process, what drove the creator to make it, how it caught on like it did, that sort of thing. That said the second bit would be difficult o find out, on account of the developer being dead and all.
