It was heavily remixed but their when he was talking about Cassanova. Also this episode had most the budget, some of that was spent on more music to fit the episode. The others have just used the same song, remixed, over and over.
But I love that song :saddowns:

Also did anyone notice how the signature theme of the series wasn't in this episode?
I can't see the Dreamlord being a timelord, he's probably an entity like The Celestial Toymaker off of the old Who.
I don't think he is. In the trailer it shows a clip where he goes 'You've called yourself a time lord, so I'll call myself the dream lord' so it's just a name he thought of on the spot, probably no relation. So I agree with you.

My theory:
The Doctor looses control of The TARDIS as it becomes extremely ill. It frezes itself and drifts towards a sun. The TARDIS' psychic field grows and begins to play with the crews mind. The virus inside the TARDIS manifests itself as "The Dream Lord" and puts the crew into a dream where Amy is pregnant. They loose grip on reality and don't know which is real anymore. The Dream Lord tells them in order to survive they must kill themselves in the dream. They decide pregnant Amy is the dream and kill themselves. They wake up in the frozen TARDIS. The Doctor tries to stop it flying into the sun but it's too late. The TARDIS falls into the sun.
And emerges the other side, defrosted by the solar energy. Stargate-style. The Dream lord is defeated and vanishes, The TARDIS is healed, they continue.
That's my theory of the plot made up from press releases ETC.
Isn't this the episode that was filmed last? So they should be at the top of their ability.

You really should spoiler tag that, like I've done.
I kinda agree. Can you imagine the dream lord as an alien? I can't. He has to be something weird and out there.
Love his voice though. Absolutely love it.
I don't think the BBC would actually have them all kill themselves. That seems a bit much for a pre-watershed program. I guess it would depend on how it's done though.

A fox with glasses has nothing to do with cracks and silence.
If he was talking about hunting down alien chickens with Will Smith and not time cracks with Matt Smith, maybe.

Actually, originally they looked like this:

Then they evolved into your avatar (along with the Sea Devils gaining samurai armour), now they've presumably evolved into those guys.
Have you gotten it to work?
I've tried and it never plays the video.
Try a downloadable proxy. That one got Pandora to work for me.
The opening with the cake was damned amazing. I was laughing uncontrollably throughout the credits, I couldn't even breathe. The "vampires" were cool, and I like the moral dilemma of the Doctor's frequent genocide and sacrifice, I just hope it comes more to question and eventually action upon it instead of like Davros' speech.
Next episode looks great. Also love how it seems to be nearly a self-referential parody in the [sp](99% certainly) dream[/sp] sequences where Amy is pregnant with the cinematography. In Series 1 and early 2, the camera work really bothered me, looked really blurred and glowing, almost like a HDR effect. Ghosted, too, was unbearable. Got better, though, one of the reasons I've liked this series so much so far. Beautiful cinematography, very crisp looking. In the pregnancy bits, it seems to revert. Like I said, maybe a self-referential parody.

Ah, well I just finished watching The Silurians and now I'm watching The Sea Devils now. Just finished Part 1. Little underwhelmed compared to The Silurians which was a much better episode.
All the best monsters have the episode named after them.
I too liked the cake scene.
All the other guys were just like "The fuck you say mate?" in some stance like they were going to beat the shit out of him lol.

Wait, are there only 13 episodes for the 11th doctor? Will there be more?
Time is passing pretty quickly. I will be seriously annoyed if there is no special.

What?
Where are you getting that from? Isn't it only 13 this series?
I thought Smith and Gillan are staying on for atleast another series.
A "special" would be, for example, David Tennant's 2007 Christmas showing. The flying titanic.
Also, 13?
I just remembered about that Shakespeare episode of David Tennant. The cinema place needed 13 columns. Hmm...:v:

Every series has 13 episodes, every series has a christmas special attached to it.
This year is no exception. Smith is in. Though it's not entirely known if Karen is. And I'd rather not know, be more of a surprise. Like Martha and Donna who I had no idea was leaving. Smith will also be in an episode of Sarah Jane Adventures with 70's companions Sarah Jane and Jo Grant.
No Amy.
Hmmm.

Smith signed on 3 years, and a possible extension of two after that.
We should have him 5 years. And if he chooses. More.
There's going to be more than 13 episodes...surely!
There's going to be more than 13 episodes...surely!
No.. Each series is only 13 episodes long.
Is this your first series?
There's going to be more than 13 episodes...surely!
Did you read the post directly above yours? Theres 13 in this series, plus the Christmas special.
