Watching confidential. The historian is great.
Historian: You write your Doctor Who on plague. Is he doctor of plague?
Writer: No he is a time traveler
Historian: *FORCED SMILE, NO BLINKING*
Writer: Aliens use the fear of plague.
Historian: Let's look at documents.
He was no amused.
I don't think anyone else mentioned this but in the latest episode I liked it very much that the Doctor's "library card" had a picture of William Hartnell on it.
I thought the mouth scene in The Beast Below was much funnier.
"It's not a floor...it's ah...err..."
"It's a what?"
"...The next word is kind of the scary word. You probably want to take a moment, get yourself in a calm place...go OMMMMM..."
"...OMMMMM?"
"It's...a Tongue!"
"A Tongue?"
"A Tongue! A GREAT BIG TONGUE!"
"This is a mouth...this whole place is a mouth...WE'RE IN A MOUTH?"
"YES! But on the plus side...Roomy"
[editline]0[/editline]
"How does a mouth have an eject button?"
"...Think about it!"
[editline]1[/editline]
"There's nothing broken, no sign of concussion and yes, you are covered in sick."
Can't get enough of this new series. Thank god for Steven Moffat taking over.

Why do i have a feeling the next episode (Amys choice) Is going to be the final episode of S5?

Cause it had an awesome trailer.
From experience however, the better the trailer, the worse the episode.
Blink had a TERRIBLE trailer.
Because you'e not British?
It's a 13 episode season (not counting the upcoming games :v:) and the finale is already confirmed to be broadcast on the 26th of June, coinciding with Amy's wedding date.
I think it's going to be a great episode, regardless of the trailer.

I agree.
Plays with your mind. What would you do type thing.
The thing I dislike is old people as the main villain. Their are scenes old people attack the gang with weapons and chase them into a house. Old people attacking the young.
Just finished S4 of this.
So, how is the new Doctor faring? I can't see how anyone could replace Tennant, that guy was a fucking blast to watch.

Better than Tennant. It makes you see how much of Tennants performance was face pulling and shouting.
Still love Tennant, but Smith more.

First I saw them on Gallifrey Base, then The Sun comments, then The Telegraph and now every single comments box.
People saying this episode is lacking something, yet nobody knows what. I had this at first, but it's gone. The episodes are now better on rewatch.
Also people not paying attention to the episodes. "HOW COME THEY CAN ALL SPEAK ENGLISH? NOBODY NOTICES THE TARDIS? ANOTHER LOVE TRIANGLE??"
First of all:
- They speak English as The TARDIS gets inside your brain and translates.
- The TARDIS is partly hidden from the human mind
- Amy doesn't love The Doctor. Doctor doesn't love Amy. I thought this was abundantly clear when he stopped kissing her. Or when he said "She only kissed me because I was their". Their are no feelings yet people don't understand.

I'm going to have to say you're wrong about Amy not loving the Doctor.

I disagree to an extent. I know Matt Smith could be great, in 11th Hour he was FANTASTIC. However he seems a bit too... unsure in the role still. No doubt he will grow into the role and become fantastic but it just seems like he isn't as good as he will be yet.
Episode 6 seems to feel like a filler episode, it doesn't really have anything outstanding about it.
Still, it is a lot better on rewatch.
I think Matt Smith was too much like Tennant in the Eleventh Hour, and then he got better later.
Also, Amy doesn't love the Doctor - "I wasn't thinking something quite so, long term"

It's because of the paralells with School Reunion, another Toby Whithouse story.
Are you my mummy?

That still remains the creepiest episode out of all the re-boot.

Zing
The Queen just made David Cameron the new prime minister. Can't wait for him to cut the license fee, and half the budget for Doctor Who.
