I'm pretty sure the Void Breach and the Cracks aren't connected... The Void Breach was a rift that opened out into the space between universes, whilst the Cracks are intradimensional lacerations, parts of spacetime that never shoulda touched, some of them leading to a source of "pure time" that eliminates things from history.
Although I don't get how that'd work, wiping something from the entire Timestream. Or maybe it simply alters the destiny of the particles that would eventually comprise that thing, right at the beginning of the universe, causing them to become part of something else or something...
Maybe the cracks lead to something that is almost the exact opposite of the Void? Like, the void is nothingness, a complete absense of time and space, and the cracks lead to quite literally everything in time and space? If you get what I mean.
So basically you suggest some sort of dimension that contains all potential things, like some kind of giant broom cupboard/apocrypha? We'd have to see...
So basically you suggest some sort of dimension that contains all potential things, like some kind of giant broom cupboard/apocrypha? We'd have to see...
Well, if the giant broom cupboard is filled with literally everything that could possibly exist in such a concentrated form that it is impossible for a human to actually perceive it, then yeah :v:
Next Episode teaser looked a bit...dull.
The Venice one was dull-ish, and was still dull.
we all know the rumours of the cybermen in the last episode....
Rumours? Hardly a rumour. They aren't in any other episode.
Also the last two episodes have been leaked to be called:
Pandorica Opens
The Big Bang
Clearly Pandorica is a play on Pandoras box, containing all the evils in the world. The Big Bang is when the explosion happens, probably some attempt at closing Pandorica.
Didn't Moffat say the main enemy of the series would appear in every episode?
[sp]It's the new TARDIS. It's appearance makes no sense and people have just learned to accept it.
I'm not going to bother speculating but in the final episodes a second TARDIS appears. It is rumoured that the second TARDIS is 'the real TARDIS'.[/sp]
[sp]"The Doctor and the TARDIS doesn't know" - Prisoner Zero and Angel Bob. Why mention the TARDIS both times? Why not Amy? Or his screwdriver?[/sp]

Two parter.
Part 1 is always dull.
Also they are my favourite villain. So I'm excited.
Sadly it is the worst writer. Same guy who wrote all the bad episodes of Torchwood (A lot of them). He also wrote 42.
[sp]It's the new TARDIS. It's appearance makes no sense and people have just learned to accept it.[/sp]
Does that mean [sp]the real TARDIS isn't bright blue[/sp]? Also [sp]who has the facility to completely replicate a TARDIS?[/sp]

A lot of people think its Prisoner Zero. but I think that's bullshit.

I know that. What I meant was how could they [sp]replicate the Doctor's TARDIS without him noticing.[/sp]
The Human Doctor has a piece of TARDIS coral
[sp]None of the RTD-era characters will come back.[/sp]
Why are you putting that in spoilers.
[sp]None of the RTD-era characters will come back.[/sp]
Apart from maybe Jack in the next series.
Fuck.
I keep reading spoilers and I can't help it :argh:
Apart from maybe Jack in the next series.
John Barrowman says he would like to come back. It doesn't mean Moff wants him back.
I don't see this fascination people have with bringing back old characters. It just makes the series stagnate - there is no way to inject new material with old characters.

I was being ironic.

I agree. I really felt disappointed by the finale to Season 4. Catherine Tate never really had time to shine because she was constantly upstaged by ... hmm, now let me see, Rose, Martha, Jackie, Mickey, Sarah-Jane, Jack, and Human-Doctor. It was all a gigantic emotional clusterfuck.
They are using the mouth effect too much this season.
Prisoner zero - weird teeth.
Inside gigantic mouth space whale thingy.
Vampires in venice - weird teeth.
Old age pensioners with eyes in their mouths :v:

Moffat said in an interview that kids would enjoy a friendly and known face back like Captain Jack, you could tell the way he said it, he wants it to happen.
Personally in Series 4 you could tell that tennant was becoming bored with the doctor as he became a know-all pompous cock. But the End Of Time sorted that.
Wouldn't you rather have a fresh episode with no idea what's going to happen rather than 45 minutes of innuendos about bisexuality in the future?

Series 4 was on the whole a crap series. There were some good episodes like Forest of the Dead and Partners in Crime but the rest were bilge.
The Stolen Earth was possibly the worst modern Who episode*. EVERYTHING in it was recycled.
(* - Except Chloe Webber)
I hope there are going to be several cybermen, and not just 1.
Has anyone else noticed the news report sounds at the end of the preview?

All i can make out is "Has taken its place in the scottish highlands"

It's Moffat we are talking about here.
He said in an interview that he plans to bring Jack back at some point but when he does it will be because of the story not the character. He will only bring Jack back if their is a point to it.
Let's not forget Moffat introduced Jack to us rather beautifully.

The trailer clearly shows an army and several zombie cybermen.
Rumours also suggest their is a new model of skinny-incomplete Cybermen based more on the classic series. But it's just speculation so NO SPOILER TAG SO HA.
Hopefully they will return to the original concept art for series 2.

So much so i added it to the High Octane Nightmare Fuel page for Doctor Who(oh yes it has its own page) on TV Tropes.
Also, I lol'd when the doctor put his hands below amy's skirt.
[editline]01:47PM[/editline]
Also. in the TARDIS dream thsi was the first time amy hasn't worn a skirt(Jeans)
I've never actually seen much Doctor Who but this new season has gotten me totally into it.
Though such a tease for the Weeping Angels part 1 episode.
Also, who else was expecting Rory to kill himself with those scissors?
I just realised that, since I've not really been thinking about how well I've transitioned from Tennant being The Doctor to Matt Smith being The Doctor, it suggests that I think that Matt Smith plays The Doctor well..
Nope, But i did have a feeling he was going to do something with them on Amy... :ohdear:
