I found the cliffhanger in this ep to be quite a lot... scarier..? (Can't think of a word) than the one in The Time of Angels
Originaly, Mo and Amy were to be stripped down to their underwear before being disected. This was removed for being accused as "too adult"
:q: This doesn't confirm Amy gets dissected though.

Doctor Who scores ratings of 4.5 million. Lowest ratings since the shows revival. But only 13 million were watching TV. Only 13 million out of the whole country. To put that in context, Doctor Who has had 12 million ratings before. So nobody was watching Doctor Who because nobody was watching TV. I wasn't watching, I shall later.
People were in the magical mystical land called OUTSIDE!
Don't talk about the outside like it's real, we all know it's just a game, and a sucktastic one at that.
Aye. The only real reason people weren't watching was because they were out basking in the supernatural light that the mystics call "sun shine", which rarely shows itself in this cloud-plagued country.
Hope it doesn't end up cancelled in the 6th/7th seasons.
Hope it doesn't end up cancelled in the 6th/7th seasons.
They wouldn't cancel Doctor Who, they just wouldn't
They wouldn't cancel Doctor Who, they just wouldn't
Wouldn't be the first time...
They wouldn't cancel Doctor Who, they just wouldn't
It's too iconic to the country, as is James Bond. BBC know this and EastEnders are the highest rating shows on their channel. I wouldn't worry as long as it has the fan base and viewers. Tomorrow I have a day-long Art examination. My topic is "metamorphosis", so I thought I might as well do something about the Doctor regenerating. 10 minutes of photoshopping later I came up with this, which I have to paint on a canvas tomorrow: [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/final.png[/img_thumb]
Hope it doesn't end up cancelled in the 6th/7th seasons.
Doctor Who is currently flushing the shit away. At 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 children start watching Doctor Who, after-all, it's a kids show. They get so caught up in the action over the years they forget it's a kids show, they got caught up in the performance of Tennant. Soon as he left their view of the show changes. These children are now 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17. Teenagers. Teenagers like to moan on the internet. Teenagers HATE watching a kids show. And now Tennant has gone they have started realising it's a kids show again. And so we see a flurry of hate on the internet as thousands of teenagers fall out of love with the show. But, at the same time, millions of 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 year olds are beginning to watch Doctor Who. Smith is their first Doctor, and next year as more fans leave, more will begin watching. The hate will stop as children don't voice opinions. In five years time Doctor Who will have a new fanbase of people who love the show. Smith will be the new Tennant. And when he leaves it will happen all over again. Like a toilet, the dirty water is being flushed out as the new clean water floods in. Of course not all teenagers are leaving. A lot like to stick around as a lot know good TV. Doctor Who won't be cancelled, like the lead actor, the fanbase is constantly changing. That, and BBC won't axe the show aslong as it sells merchandise.
I like it, show us the end result when you can! :D
My god Smith's face is the hardest thing to draw ever from that angle. However I draw him he either looks pure evil or like George Harrison circa 1966.
Is there anywhere I can watch Doctor Who episodes? I can't view them from bbc... not british. I used ot watch it on casttv.com, but the latest episode seems.. fast forwarded or something. nvm found something.
Is it me or do the old Silurians have a similarity to the old cybermen? Well kind of. Wanted them to keep the voice :(
