When the Doctor pulled out the rag I half expected to see one of those balls that are on the casing of a dalek. I was not disappointed.
I thought it was going to be a framed photo of Amy and Rory's wedding. But instead I got a blown up tardis :frown:
I thought it was going to eat his hand.
He's too complex for it's tastebuds.
At first I thought the piece of the TARDIS was from the old TARDIS. I'm more upset at the prospect of the TARDIS exploding than I am about Rory being shot.
Rory will be back. The Crack will most likely spew everything out.
This. That could mean the Angels may make another appearance.

I would love it if the Tardis was the main antagonist in the series and finale. Someone on pg. 33 said "It just sits there and does nothing". However, think about the Dream Lord. It wasn't tangible, but it still had a mind of its own (sort-of, in a sense). The Tardis is so powerful as we've seen through the years. It could have had the power to move in a way to accumulate the psychic sand (or whatever they were), and could easily manipulate time in a way to create the cracks. The cracks usually follow the Tardis either directly (most of the time, like in the previous episode) and indirectly (The vampire-like aliens escape to a time where the Tardis was sent to bring Amy and Rory. The aliens fled to that time because of a crack). It could easily manipulate so much. It would be fun to see a big grand season finale with the Tardis manipulating stuff like that all while just sitting there. Maybe the [sp]piece of the Tardis found in the crack[/sp] was from when [sp]it will be defeated and blown up[/sp]?
The dream lord was [sp] the doctor [/sp]
I'm aware. But my point is that even though it was [sp]the Doctor[/sp], it still had it's own mind if you will. It was subconscious, but still. What I'm saying is that the Tardis could have a whole mind of its own too and we just don't know it. It could have a subconscious as well.
I've always felt the TARDIS has more influence on destinations than the Doctor does, but that's from a revival onwards perspective only.
I'm glad Rory's gone for the time being. He needed to fuck off and let the doctor do his thang.
I'm glad Rory's gone for the time being. He needed to fuck off and let the doctor do his thang.
I wanted him to be killed in the very first episode this series!
I've always felt the TARDIS has more influence on destinations than the Doctor does, but that's from a revival onwards perspective only.
Well, remember from the end of season 3, Captain Jack was clinging to the Tardis and the Tardis decided it needed to shake him off because he's not right / normal (He can't die). The Tardis therefore flies to the very end of the universe to try to fling him off.
Yoinketh'd the "yey wall" avatar.
Run.
FUUUUUUUUUUUU- Also, I don't think the TARDIS will go [SP]BOOM[/SP] in the way we think it will. Maybe it's a result of another [SP]time crash[/SP] with the same TARDIS. Remember, this crack is pulling in all events of time and that, so if the Doctor has been to a majority of the places it could happen.
What if a crack fell into another crack?
Maybe it's the Meddling Monk. Let's see: Meddling in time - Check Another police box - Check Patrick Stewart was rumoured to be playing the Meddling Monk ages ago - Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meddling_Monk Oh and [sp]Their is a second TARDIS interior in the finale[/sp]
What if a crack fell into another crack?
then you've got a crack in a crack.
The enemy isn't going to be the TARDIS. Steven Moffat probably has thought of something nobody else will figure out. Anyway, that episode was rather mediocre, but then the ending happened and it made up for it.
Bill Nighy in next episode. :neckbeard:
Who said it had to be the doctor's tardis. It could be another the doctor's tardis. Yay parallel worlds :D As people have been erased from history, what is really happening is that the Doctor and Amy have been shifted to another similar one where the people have just never existed. If they are not in their own reality, then it could not be the doctor's at all, but just another one. Crazy twist/spin-off: time lords exist still and the daleks are really tea making servants with a funny name.
been in a massive doctor who mood recently, so i decided to have a go at doing the tardis. not finished yet of course, but i think it's a nice start!
I think the tardis is best seen when the top is in view. So can I see the top to see if it is slanted as it should be?
How many more fucking people will die for him? This is bullshit. Has there been a single male companion to live? Mickey doesn't count, he was a moron.
I think it's great they killed him off, I didn't mind his character, but it's just showing that Doctor Who is at it's best when it's dark. When we saw Amy and Rory waving in the distance, we all instantly assumed that they would both survive the series as usual. To lead us on like that then suddenly kill off such a major character is Moffat's writing at it's best.
Big squeaky bum time!
No crack in the dream world episode (and no, you will never persuade me that a random line on a star is a crack , they usually make it a lot more obvious, and the same for Venice and the clouds (but I would have counted the end with the key hole of the tardis)).
The crack wasn't in the DREAM world episode as it was just that, time has no affect on dreams.
If the tardis blows up, I will kill myself. Since doctor who will end.
