Yeah... I was reading the wiki entry on the 11th doctor and it says that he's prone to violence and that he will use that as it's first option not his last.
It may just happen...

I'm pretty sure that the explosions in the TARDIS at the beginning of the first episode have something to do with the finale, since they never really explained what happened - and since that never happened during the Eccleston / Tennant regeneration I'm sure that there'll be some reason for why it happened. If not I'll be a bit disappointed, since the explosions and the 'regeneration' of the TARDIS didn't really make sense.

I think the explanation was that Tennant was incredibly emotional, and he had absorbed a shitload of nuclear crap and that all came out when he regenerated, hence fucking up the TARDIS, making it crash.
