I think the explanation was that Tennant was incredibly emotional, and he had absorbed a shitload of nuclear crap and that all came out when he regenerated, hence fucking up the TARDIS, making it crash.
Fair enough. Even so, it could still have something to do with the finale. Didn't Dan say something about Steven Moffat saying that one of the scenes in the Eleventh Hour wouldn't make sense until the finale or something?

Haven't heard that myself, but if it's true.. woop could be awesome! :v:

If he did say that, I'd think it'd be the 'dream' with 7 year old Amelia waking up to the sound of the Tardis

Someone else said that, but surely Amy dreaming about the Doctor coming back WOULD make sense since that's the one thing she wanted more than anything in the world at that point?
When do the new episodes air on BBC America?
I really want to play the game. I even got the installer from the link earlier on in the thread. I'm just wondering how other Americans have played it. Gets to the installation phase and then says it can't be installed outside of the UK. How did others get around that, did that always happen?
Ah well, it's going up for sale in the U.S. tomorrow, right?
When do the new episodes air on BBC America?
Every Saturday at either 9 or 10, can't remember which, though we are a couple episodes behind
I hope they optimise the engine more. My laptop can run TF2 fine - this game shouldn't make it overheat to 95 degrees.
I can run Bioshock on all high maxed out with about 30-40FPS which isn't bad. outdated sure, but no way bad. But i can't run this higher than medium without it lagging horridly.
This series wins hands down music wise.
Even though it's the same tune over and over and over but slightly tweaked.
I love the slightly desperate one in the game that goes DUN DUN DUN DAAAH DUN DUN DUNDA, Except slightly strained/extended on each one.
The "metal version" is awesome but it sounds more like Rock.
Which is good because I prefer Rock.

But Doctorin' The Tardis wins hands down

What the Ninth Doctor thinks of the Tenth Doctor
Martha was my fav Tenth Doc companion IMO. Too bad they ruined her in series 4 by making her Mary Sue. I like to pretend most of series 4 was just some sort of brain-damage induced dream of Donna's after the LOL-TIMELORDyness
[editline]09:59PM[/editline]
Is it anything to do with when the 10th timelord regenerated he blew up some of the TARDIS?
He didn't destroy the TARDIS. I added it to the wiki because it's possible time was rewritten by the crack and the 2005 TARDIS exploded.

Not till July for outside of the UK.
Ooooh
The 7 year old version of Amy is going to be in the finale.
Maybe the 'dream' in Eleventh Hour wasn't a dream and the Doctor went back like he supposedly did in Flesh and Stone when he told her to 'remember what he told her when she was 7' and she had no idea what he was on about.
Maybe in the finale we see what he told the 7 year old version and something happens with a crack meaning that Amy can't remember...or something
I love Doctor Who so much :3:

I sit there on the lounge floor every saturday, Twinkly-Eyed and childlike.
Time to watch a classic episode. A Davison one I think.
(My original post said "A Davros one" but spell check suggested Davison so I did it for the irony. Because it IS a Davison one.)

These two posts.
I don't care what the hateful bitter so called "fans" are shitting at "Gallifrey Base". It seems they WANT the series to fail. Every week I am more excited then anything else for Doctor Who. And I sit just like Comrade does but with Dr Pepper, popcorn and Jelly Babies.
And while this week may be a character episode, and even go as far as including licensed music, I don't care. Because Doctor Who is Doctor Who. It's what made the Adventure Games so good.
I sit with badly-diluted blackcurrant squash and often a packet of sweets or my dinner. I've actually threatened to do terrible things to my family members if they change the channel or interrupt me.
I want a 3 minute long doctor who theme song.
One minute is not enough :frown:
I am still thinking Amy's parents and/or Aunt went in the crack. Seems to of skipped past them quite quickly in the first episode and all of the other 3 companions had quite complex family stories.
Am I the only one who loves the little Star Trek-y bit in the Themes

Also, is it me or is the Alien OOW WOO WOOOOOOOOOOO Thing seem Realy Intrusive in this version
I watched The Five Doctors the other day, brilliant episode, I hope the finale IS based in the death zone.

I love this special.
What was that, out of curiosity?
It was a children in needs special where the 10th Doctor meets the 5th Doctor (Peter Davidson)

I liked that special but it was Tennant sucking Davidson's dick more than anything

Well, what would you do if you met a version of you from the past?
Good god did the developers not take into mind that when they encourage people to explore, things can go wrong?
I went to the room with the giant eye, Amy went there, then I got the two components, and now it's impossible to get to that area because I have the components.

If I did I wouldn't try to fuck him
Although speculation, I've spoiler tagged this because it's actually a pretty likely outcome.
[sp]Each crack is supposed to be two parts of time and space that should have never touched, and from what we know, anything that gets sucked into those cracks is removed from time and space, and anyones memory that's had a long persistant direct connection with them (the length of time required is unknown, but that's irrelevant for now). Anyhow Rory was technically removed from time and space, however the ring was left behind. This is already a paradox in itself because for it to be there, it has to be placed there. But the person who placed it there is now gone, so it shouldn't even be there.
However, if Rory gets into the Tardis (which I suspect will happen as I believe he returns next episode) and touches the ring, this would be a (double?) paradox. The person who placed it there is now gone, so it shouldn't be there but the person who should have placed it there is now back however he never placed it there in the first place because his history was wiped and possibly rewritten which means the Tardis is possibly going to have a heart attack and want to explode.[/sp]

Rory does not return next episode. The only episode he has been casted for that we haven't seen is the finale. We might see him in the Pandorica opens, or at the very end of The Lodger for a brief second (if the Lodger is like Utopia where it leads into the finale) but I doubt it.
My only theory is that all the aliens we know are casted in the finale gather together and attempt to imprison the Doctor in the Pandorica.
I'm glad that prickbag Rory got erased. I really hated him.
So for a while I've needed a good flashlight, and as a result of my love of Doctor Who I've wanted it to be a Sonic Screwdriver. I've considered making my own, being more personal, and also buying one that's already been released. However, I didn't know how powerful they'd be as actual flashlights and how sturdy they are. Looking around, I found this.

See, I'm conflicted. I'd love to have the extending claws and sound and such, I really would, but by all reports I hear 11's screwdriver (Or at least the one out now) breaks really quickly. It's been hard to find reports of how bright the screwdrivers are, anyways. I know previously, also, there was a version of 9/10's that didn't extend and was only an LED torch, but it looked tiny and flimsy. This... due to it's dedication to a torch I'd trust it more, and it looks much sturdier than the old one while also avoiding the weak mechanisms of the toy one. However, I'm not finding much information on it, and I don't know the actual scale of it or how bright it is. It's much cheaper, obviously, which is both one of the selling points for me and a cause for skepticism. It's less of a loss if it doesn't work well, too. Should I just go ahead and pre-order it? Looks well enough, and if it doesn't work too well as a torch then HEY, I got 11's screwdriver for like $12, and that'd be fine with me. Can I trust it'll be good, though?
Matt's screwdriver only breaks a lot because he's naturally clumsy. I bet if you were to buy one, it'd work fine.

You could probably replace the LEDs and then it would work as an actual flashlight if it's too dim.
