Where's that from?
The teaser, most likely.
Definitely didn't feel like a Doctor Who Episode. That doesn't automatically make it bad though.
Glad somebody agrees with me.
At least Victory of the Daleks felt like Doctor Who, not a god damn drama about Van Gogh.
Gave it another watch this morning and it wasn't as bad as i first thought but it still was the weakest of this season so far i think.
At least next weeks is probably going to be a great episode.
It seems the doctor is voting on IMDB seeing as next weeks episode has got 8.8 already but yes next weeks does look good.
Looking forward to the finale soon, hopefully the director will pull off something good
I love how every week its been;
That wasn't as good as I'd spent all week hyping it up to be. I think next week's looks awesome though.
Just enjoy it as it's happening!

We're humans, we're different, have our own opinions. Personally i've found every episode to be quite good!

No I don't mean people who are genuinely disappointed, I mean people spend all week building themselves up:
I heard that this week the TARDIS is destoryed by the Daleks AND Cybermen and Amy dies when Rose, Martha and Donna run over her on a bike doing a wheely backwards through a ring of fire and then the Master comes back and steals the doctor's sonic screwdriver so he has to get the 9th and 10th doctors to help him get it back!
...and are then disappointed that, shockingly, none of it happened.
Yeah, it didn't feel like a Doctor Who episode, but it was a good watch.
I just got the joke, by the by.
Van Gogh: That accent...are you from Holland, like me?
Amy: N-
Doctor: Yes
[sp]Amy has a Scottish accent, and so does the "translation" of Van Gogh, so the Tardis rendered her with the same accent as Van Gogh![/sp]
Thinking of writing my own series of Doctor Who which i'm considering filming once I get a camera, if anybody is interested? I'll accept a few people who have that eagerness to write.
I'm making my own Doctor Who title sequence with the Tardis I made, if you like it, you're more than welcome to use it.

Some of us enjoy speculation and spoilers, but when people spend weeks hyping themselves up, generally its not about the plot but about the overall quality of the episode they expect and what they get.
I've only really been disappointed with the angels two parter so far, every other episode has been what its cracked up to be for me.

Thankyou! I'm attempting to give it a go too, but something different to the usual series. So i'll see which works out, if I use yours i'll definitely credit you!
My "speculation" is usually based on what I've seen on set.
I wasn't looking forward to this episode, the fighting the invisible monster thing was just stupid looking. It wasn't even slightly entertaining. However despite the boring first 40 minutes, the scene with Van Gogh in the future was beautiful and one of the best scenes this series.
Okay, trying to find a decent remix of the theme tune.

That's all I can find that I like at the moment, but the NO SFX one which is about half way through the clip.
Hmm, or this?

I agree that it didn't feel like a Doctor Who episode, but I still liked it a lot more than I've liked a lot of the new series' episodes.
Loved it cause I've always wanted to see them take a guy from the past to the future.

I love this.
Better than the current one if you ask me. Not kidding.
If anyone says they didn't feel anything at the end when Bill Nighy was saying how awesome Van Gogh was and he was tearing up then you have no soul my good fellow

I liked that bit, but the rest was bad.
A lot of people don't like the Athlete song at the end, I thought it was perfect. But it was very Curtis, if you've seen Love Actually and such, fits right in there with other music he's chosen.

Yeah i noticed that when i saw it on TV.
Yep, that fridge leaflet may be more important than you imagine.
[sp]The finale is based on a Van Gough painting[/sp]

Were does everyone get this info from? D:
[sp]In case you haven't worked it out and I may be late, but Vincent is The Master[/sp]

I call bullshit, right now.
The announcer DID say something about the Doctor meeting a 'very new master' or something like that.
The thing i like about this series is, it's more of a 'lets go and explore somewhere'. Not a 'Oh no, we have to save the earth again'
I feel that's what Dr Who should be about.
[sp]I'm calling it, James Corden is the master[/sp]
