Haven't listened to much this week.
Trying out the new Last.fm beta site.
Looks decent so far, just need to get adjusted to it. The font is too big, though.

I don't like the new artist pages. Having two columns meant that you needed less scrolling. Now the second column isn't made use of nearly as much, making the page longer. The larger artist pictures are nice, though
looks okay, a little cleaner. But seems a little bloated imo.
Judging by most sites they're going to switch to it eventually, so I'm going to use it now so I can get used to it before it changes for good.

There's too much white space and font is too big.
If you have no friends that have listened to an artist the listening trends bar crosses the entire screen and looks a mess. The top looks neat, but as soon as you get to the similar artists section everything's too big and messy

I think there is too much unused space.
Facepunch is one of the only sites i know that doesn't have unused space. For a 1920 width resolution anyways. Youtube and Facebook have the same problem as last.fm beta

People don't like reading across a really wide page. Most people prefer text that's longer vertically than it is wide

Just replace the www. in the URL with beta.
It comes up at the top of most artist pages to let you switch, too

The font is fine imo. Makes things stand out more. I like the albums being larger than before on the front page and graphs. Also the artist photos.
Maybe the shouts should be smaller though.

The artist photos also fade in and out which is nice. It's a whole lot fresher.

It's not different enough to warrant much of an opinion from me though
Beta seems ok, but I have to agree that the font is too big.
I wish they did something to freshen up the profiles.
