is that divine comedy dude any good?
I really like him, basically, Scott Walker is to him what Jacques Brel was to Scott Walker. Listen on a rainy day drinking in the afternoon.

ain't listened to Brel in ages, Marquises is brilliant.
You seem like a dude who'll like: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alain_Bashung

So I'm an androgynous 22 year old?
You wish.
I think I have higher claims for androgyny and an unknown age

Fuckin dammit akayz, stop ousting me from the old androgynous contest
Autumn convinced me to get Last.fm the other day.
I'm still going through the stage where I'm trying to only listen to music which I listen to frequently rather than the song-anomalies which aren't fitting to the kind of music I like but I sometimes enjoy listening to just so my recommendations aren't more from that artist or similar artists :tinfoil:
If you want proper recommendations then you could always post in the recommendations thread in this subforum though.

Also, link your last.fm to your facepunch page and join the facepunch music section group.
last fm ain't for recommendations for me tbh, it's more about what people are hearing and being surprised certains folks are hearing certain things bla bla bla.

also the radio function owns.
I use the discovery feature a lot

I listened to my recommended radio on there. Everything was either Kpop or something that wasn't Kpop but was tagged as Kpop for some reason
I haven't used the last.fm radio in so long, I probably should again, it's cool as hell
I mostly get symphonic metal bands with women as the lead vocalist
can't complain honestly
I rarely check mine.
It usually flips through either prog rock bands, sludge/doom/stoner metal bands, thrash/death metal bands, or a mixture of all of them.
i never use my radio ever because it doesnt play full albums and i dont want to pay
I haven't used last.fm properly in a couple weeks
my problem is I only just got it, so my playlist is fucked up and a terrible representation of what I actually listen to
I mean I love public image and shearwater but they are relatively small bands in the scheme of my tastes, but they're up the top

takes a lot longer than a month to fully represent your library imo.
then again, we go through different phases of what we listen to. so all in all it won't be a proper representation, unless there's some tool that tells us our taste in different time periods.
