Seriously, Besides Slough Feg the fourth album just turns it into a slogfest to the point where I just can't be arsed. Feels like it really detracts from the music
There are just some people who can listen to a band without getting tired of them I guess. All comes down to personal preference.
Hey q0q, any chance you're from Minnesota? I noticed you listen to a bunch of Minneapolis/St. Paul artists. Not that we don't have a good hip-hop scene and all, but I don't know too many people who listen to some of those artists, that aren't locals.

Exactly. I can't exaggerate the fact that Dream Theater defines what a circle-jerk band is. It's just a bunch of musicians wanking over each other. Metropolis Pt 2, biggest let down of all time honestly.

first off, I know that dream theater = instrumental wankery and f# squeals, but I still like their music, secondly, how was Metropolis Pt. 2 a let down? and yes the fans are retarded, but which artist doesn't have a mass of shitty fans that comment dumb crap on youtube channels?
