I haven't listened to much music this week at all. Strangely, I get all this free time and I just played video games all during my break since my friends were working evenings.

I usually listen to loads of music while doing school, so that explains it.

I haven't even gotten around to 9 artists this week:

Maybe having the radio playing while vacuuming the house is a little different to gaming while listening to music :)

Only when playing Morrowind, since it's on the PC. Skryrim on PS3 wouldn't be the same without headphones to pull you into it, so I can't really have music playing at the same time. Unless there was something that I could use to split my headphones to two sources, in which case I would probably play music with Skyrim from time to time. Although actually, Morrowind with music really just helps to make sure I don't get bored wandering around the wasteland that is the game world, so I actually don't think I'd be able to play Skyrim with music quite so easily. Would distract too much from everything else.

Sometimes music can seriously enhance some moments, like my favourite Morrowind memory of being in the middle of a thunderstorm with Ny Batterí by Sigur Rós playing. The whole album is just great Morrowind music though fyi.

~4:00 onwards in a Morrowind thunderstorm is an absolute delight.

And for some reason Marina & The Diamonds always makes me want to play Morrowind too. I just remember something about some of the songs on that album clicking while I played that game. Same goes for Minecraft with The Suburbs by Arcade Fire and Marry Me by St Vincent.

Also, love that Reign of Terror and The Tatami Galaxy will drop right off this over like a day or two, once it comes to three months later, since I listened to them on a binge over a short time in order to get them up there.

the only time i play music while playing games is with racing games. just kinda emulates a radio that way. otherwise I listen to podcasts (while playing BF3 etc)
