I don't knooow, it's pretty good. I haven't listened to Takk in a while so I can't really compare. And I haven't really listened to the whole of Valtari a lot. I just put on Fjögur Píanó every now and then mostly because it's nice. It's not a very big album overall, but Varúð is pretty huge. Varðeldur a slightly different version of Lúppulagið from Inni, and probably better too, I think. Ég Anda, Rembihnútur, Dauðalogn, and Valtari I don't really remember, since I've only listened to the album through once or twice, and the music doesn't really hold my attention, though it's still really good. Just sort of background kind of music a lot of the time though. They're probably all good tracks if I listened to them all properly though.

that's good because I normally use sigur ros as background music while doing work and such. I wish I could have gotten the blanket because that thing looks awesome.

I've heard it generalized as ( ) without drums, but I'm not sure how close that is. I dig ambient music so I'll probably like it even though I've been holding off on listening to it for a while. Takk is still my favorite by a pretty large margin and this probably won't change that.

Valtari is sort of like Jónsi & Alex's Riceboy Sleeps, but with more instruments.
Track 3 does have drums though. It's like the part of the album where the drummer gets restless and starts playing and then after the song ends they tell him to shut up and so he cries for the rest of the album, which would fit the mood of most of the tracks.
