You wanna talk "no shame"? Black Veil Brides are my top artist...
Black Veil Brides are okay but there are better metalcore bands out there (I think BvB are metalcore? I have only heard a couple of songs by them).

BVB as a band aren't 100% terrible but their image and such adds to their terribleness a lot
only heard that knives and pens song and it's decent and the lead single off their second album which was a step backwards really
my top 5 artists (12 months, overall includes my brother's scrobbles from last year... yuck) are extremely varied

I dislike the image so much I made a group specifically for people who only care about the music and not the image. If they dropped all that shit, they'd lose the screaming scene girl fanbase but they'd make up for it with people who genuinely like the music.
And BVB have kind of switched styles; the first album was partially metalcore type stuff, and it's okay, but their second studio album (one of my favourite albums ever) is pretty much entirely hard rock type music with hardly any screaming and it works a lot better. Andy has a good voice for that kind of music.

I dunno. The second album has so many awesome choruses on it. Rebel Love Song is another amazing one.
I used the word "amazing" kind of loosely there. It's very good. Not amazing.

It's usually more well-recieved, just not at Download where 90% of the crowd wants Metallica and Sabbath.
