Which is a pointless argument to make. Any professional mastering engineer is going to have a lot better hearing than us (and also really high quality equipment). Their whole job relies on making slight changes in the music to increase the quality. Any good mastering engineer will know what they are going to do before they do it, it's not like they are just experimenting which what sounds best. Usually you can't really generalize a group, but I feel safe about generalizing professional mastering engineers. Note that I'm not talking about amateurs, but I'm talking about professionals.
I should of elaborated :v: Agree with everything you just said, but not all remastered works do justice to the originals in terms of sound. That is all.
That is true. Some are less skillful than others, and some even like to try to change the musical direction.
