I put the light version of this http://www.guitarcenter.com/ESP-LTD-FX-360-Electric-Guitar-584489-i1503619.gc on layaway and in a couple of months I'll have it. The guy at the store also found a hard case that it fits into in the back of the store and he threw it in with the guitar for free. I can't wait to pick it up and take it home. I'm probably gonna get a new strap and strings for it too.
Get a set of DR .10's. I love mine. Might not ever use another brand/type of string as long as I keep playing to be honest. Great tone, still very flexible and easy to play, and they hold tuning really well, even down as low as drop-C.
I'll give em a shot, thanks.
I recently bought The Best of RKL

The other guitarist in my bandyband has that. The bridge is pretty fucked (strings come out of their seat randomly mid-song) and his input jack nearly does not function. This may just be because he takes terrible care of his possessions but play it before you buy it and get a warranty.
I've played it a ton in store, it sounds great, it feels great, everything is pretty much brand new. I think your friend might just be careless.

Longer scale, very close to bass scale if I remember right.
So that means that it can be put in lower tunings and the tension on the strings will still be at a reasonable level right?
I think a lot of ESP and metal orientated guitars are built like that

Actually I preferred the prs over the ESP (and other companies) baritone guitars, because the prs haves the 27.7 scale instead the ESP 26.5 scale, while the prs sounds punchier than the ESP and feels better and is built better (My opinion, don't rage)
You can play every tuning on an baritone guitar, just the difference is that baritone guitars sound punchier direct into your face, longer neck, more possibilities (tuning range) and ticker strings which sound better on them plus the tension.
I myself will tune it almost one octave down (F#C#F#BEG#)
I play experimental groove, funk metal style music (I write them by my own) and I just like the dark full sound with the wide avaible notes to play from very low to higher! (Which is not good archieve-able on a normal guitar)
[editline]01:25PM[/editline]
And a normal bass scale is 34.
[editline]01:26PM[/editline]
24.75 small
25.5 standart
26.5 baritone
Everything higher is still baritone but with no special name to it.
MGMT's Congratulations
