Two years ago a few months after I got my dog my parents let her outside to use the bathroom. She "ran" away from them. Was actually just walking herself on the sidewalk around the neighborhood. :v:

Is that a shaved husky?

IIRC Glorbo lives in Israel. If you're going to own a Huskey in Israel, you'll shave him if you're responsible, so probably. Also hi Spitfire.

He's growing impossibly fast. This is over the course of one month:

Those are some great pictures man.
My parents have a brown Labrador, and it is loving and playful as hell, although my mother had a hard time getting it to listen when it was younger. I don't really like small dogs, because I want them to be large enough to play and do stuff with, so my personal rule is nothing smaller than a Labrador. I want to get a Schäfer one day, but right now my appartment is too small and I have nowhere near enough time to look after one even if I was allowed to have a dog and had the space.
Why are there no fucking dachshunds in the OP?

Pit bull's have a really bad reputation, they are really friendly dogs but there is no doubt that they can show an aggressive attitude. It's sad to see a pit bull being but down because the owner neglected it.

She isn't shaved, she's just a mixed breed. That's why she's short compared to a regular husky, even though she's already over a year old.

It's for the best, really, huskies don't fit the climate here
Do your dogs love water as much as my dog? Saturday, he just jumped into a river and well... see yourself...

My Parents' dog loved to just lay in puddles after it rained.
For those of you who's dog has recently passed away, read the Chet and Bernie series (First book is called Dog On It) by Spencer Quinn, I found it to be a great way to help relieve my sadness and instead focus on the life my dog lived and the joy he brought me. (10 year old black Miniature Schnauzer, kidney failure, we put him down last Saturday.)
The story is from the perspective of the dog (I forget which kind it is, one of the ones trained to be a police dog), where Chet (the dog) and Bernie have a detective agency. It's an amazing series, with lots of personality and suspense. I'm sure some of you have heard of it/read it.

its not the pits fault its the owners who treat them like shit

Yep, for example our dog. We are like the third ord fourth owner of this little buddy and on the day we got him, he was a real wreck. Afraid of everything, dangerous for other dogs, broken leg etc.
Now he's a big darling, sometimes afraid of black dogs and really agressive when he sees guns (I got some toyguns for photography).
I don't want to know what happend to him, but his owners must have been "very nice" to him...
sometimes afraid of black dogs
That reminds me of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black-dog_bias
We're even racist towards dogs.
Nah but his previous owners were probably abusive dicks.

Haha, oh man, didn't know about that. I will show that to my girlfriend who works for a vet :-) Thank you!
But luckily, he become better after 4 years. I mean, he starts to get friends with the cat of my girlfriend's sister. A bit difficult sometimes, because the cat is a little drama queen and the dog gets crazy of joy, if the cat interacts with him.
He always does his" hucklebutt" and that's maybe the reason of the cat being careful and a bit aggressive...

Just an example for bullterriers to show their happiness!

This is sort of my dog. She belongs to my neighbor's son and his wife, but they got jobs overseas and left her behind. So now I do everything besides buy food. I get the fun part of having a dog without any of the expense.
She's part pitbull and part...I have no idea. They found her at the local shelter. We think she's a little under 3 years old. She's good a fetching sticks and attempting to kill every other dog she meets. It took about 8 months of training to get her to walk properly on a leash without going batshit crazy every time another dog shows up.
Believe it or not she's not even the alpha in that household. That title belongs to an 18-year-old poodle.

if anyone guesses what this little devil is, i'll give you a cookie
Is it a mix breed or purebred?
