If not, a road bike is a better option.

I was thinking of getting a dirt jump bike, how do these compare to Mountain bikes. I ride all over the place, on and off road. So yeah I'm not sure which to get.

Limited suspension on these though, so I wouldn't try any jumps. This is my current steed, Specialized Bighit 05 frame, various parts I've bought new and second hand (ebay :P) its a bit of a strange bike really, combination of really good and quite basic parts as i upgrade each one at a time. does work very well though, can throw it down a mountain and have it survive (mostly)
dirt jumping is better, you get to fly through the air.
What would be a good light dirt Jump bike for under £300? Sorry I don't know loads about bikes.
On whatever the fuck you want :P
A police car.
cyclocross is the mans sport. mtb is fun too though, although, I stray more to cyclo-x, bring a road rider at heart...
My wheels are a GT Outpost with disk brakes. In that exact same colour. I'd love to go bike-hiking with it one of these days.
I probably should've gotten something cheaper than a Giant XTC2 as my second bike, like a Boulder or something. Oh well, it was on sale. Plus it's a pretty nice bike.
My uncle, Luke Wiens, is a professional Mountain Biker :D He's doing next years iron man with my mom and dad, too.
Holy shit, the iron man is the definition of solid lol
Florida has no mountains/hills near me to ride my mountain bike, and half the trails are sugar sand (LOL CYA TRACTION) so you have to ride at 6 mph in first gear or go flying off your bike/slide into the sand when you try to turn. :argh:
IMO Down hill is the best, Its a lot more intense if your on a medium\hard trail
Holy shit, the iron man is the definition of solid lol
They're doing the Vine Man this weekend, leaving tomorrow. http://www.vineman.com/site3.aspx
