Hollywood Undead. Slipknot. Airbourne. AC/DC.
Try random bands you have never heard of, you may pick up a new genre that you like.
How is that a lot of genres? It's just rock and metal. That said, if you listen to metal and Iron Maiden isn't on that list, you're a tremendous douche, so I'd get some of their stuff. And get more of their albums than just Number Of The Beast and Powerslave, they've done some great stuff in ths '00s too.
You're a tremendous douche for calling somebody a tremendous douche just because they don't listen to Iron Maiden. I like metal but I don't listen to Iron Maiden. Not any of that poser shit like Slipknot either. I prefer my metal harder and more progressive like Opeth, Meshuggah and Dream Theater.
Beck, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, The Rolling Stones, Dreamtheater, The Clash
Burn Down Rome
Anal Cunt. Actually, no. Dream Theatre, Kamelot, Sonic Syndicate, Prodigy, Priest, Maiden, Rush. About 5 different genres there.

System of a down and Muse /thread
Okay, if youre looking for authentic good music then try the following. Radio Head - Try OK Computer (almost every band tries to copy these guys: They're that good) The Arcade Fire - bit heavy/ bizzare but ultimately origional as hell The White Stripes - Very Authentic/ pretty heavy Coldplay - A bit mellow for your current selection... But very good overall [editline]11:19PM[/editline]
System of a down and Muse /thread
And yes, try Muse for they are great. (absolution is best but better to get started with Black Holes and Revelations)
