Good weed is good weed regardless of name, you can have your lemon haze be shit if it's not grown right.
Names are only nice if your dealer gets from the same people so you can ask for specifics or when your dealer happens to have a strain you'll know what it was.

Any lemon you get in ireland is going to be good, it's just extremely expensive. All you can get is lemon or amnesia here, and occasionally cheese. You can even tell it's lemon from the rest cause of the smell. We pay 50 euro for 2 grams here.

Unless you grow the plant, or know the person who grows the plant, then you can't tell what it is by looking at it, smelling it, or even smoking it, with smoking you can only tell what type of plant it was. I'm not doubting your credibility, but there are many MANY different kinds of strains.

Lemon has a very very distinct aroma and constistency, if someone's selling lemon it will have that smell. I know what you mean though, but if there's only a choice of two strains you can guess which one is lemon.
