Do you know how dumb it would be to elect an 18 year old kid?
Just because you can run at 18 doesn't mean you would get elected at 18. Just like just because you're 70 years old, doesn't make you not an idiot.
for some reason you have to be 35 to be president while it's only 18 in canada
I think that is because 99% of 18 year olds are stupid and immature.
When he paused after talking about "difficulties", I get the feeling Obama basically sat him down and went "here's all the crazy complicated highly sensitive geopolitical issues I've been quietly dealing with for the past 8 years. This is your job now" and Trump is only just now starting to realize the gravity of what he's about to take on.
I'd like to think the conversation was in the same tone a father would give their son on a serious matter. Like Obama sat Trump down and was as brutally honest with him about how serious being POTUS is and what the job entails which is why Trump seems a little off. Fuck I wish we knew what they talked about.
Nevermind obama's face in this picture look at trumps face, that face alone tells it all. "What have i gotten myself into here..."
[t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cw67N44WIAEmtBo.jpg[/t] [t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cw67P_fW8AES-AY.jpg[/t] [editline]10th November 2016[/editline]
i have a feeling he doesn't want to be president anymore
I think that is because 99% of 18 year olds are stupid and immature.
Quite frankly a very good amount of 18 year olds I've met have been smarter and more mature than Trump.
populist movements always go through massive ideological crises when in power, same will happen for trump
I know y'all aren't being entirely serious, but: As is customary, Hillary and Trump got briefed on classified information back in August. That's about the point where you go "shit what am I doing".
"fuck this gay earth"

Bet you anything thats the exact feeling Trump is having right now
i have a feeling he doesn't want to be president anymore
I'm getting some Boris Johnson, with hints of Nigel Farage here. A slight touch of Jeremy Hunt on the nose too. What an awful vintage this is. The same thing occurred over here shortly after Leave won the referendum. The big names who were campaigning to leave the EU suddenly all fucked off and went into hiding (for lack of a better term) as soon as it was announced they won. Knowing full well that they would actually have responsibilities thanks to their work. Boris has always wanted a shot at PM, tried using Brexit as a means to prove Cameron was useless (didn't need proving so good work you fool), then didn't even run in the Tory leadership election before Cameron stepped down. Farage instantly fucking bounced out of UKIP, despite not winning a GE, or us having actually left the EU. And so forth. All of these bombastic idiots seem to be making huge power plays for personal gain, but when they actually win and it settles in that "shit, I'm actually going to have to do work to not look like a twat", they all run off or get really damn nervous suddenly. I'm still firmly of the opinion that Trump only "wants" this because it'd bolster his brand, the only thing he has left that can actually generate income. Actually being president means he has to do hard graft for the first time in his life. I don't think he's remotely prepared for the responsibilities, and his facial expressions seem to show he doesn't know if he is either. Pretty sure he's on some kind of lobotomised autopilot by this point.
i have a feeling he doesn't want to be president anymore
I just wanted to promote my TV show.
Trump's life could end up being miserable from the job.
i have a feeling he doesn't want to be president anymore
Didn't he say at some point during the election that he wouldn't care if he lost because he'd still be rich ? Kind of a bad sign.
This shit is surreal. Seeing Trump and Obama next to each other is something I would had never thought would happen.
I'm not a Trump supporter by any means, but I can't help but almost feel a little sad seeing his face. He looks like he's full of regret and didn't quite understand how taxing the job actually is.

Good god look at those cankles.
Good god look at those cankles.
Those are golfin' ankles.

Anyone remember Kim Jong-il looking at things? Yeah we're gonna have a lot more people meeting President(-Elect) Trump.
*record scratch* "Yep, thats me. You might be wondering how I got myself in this mess."
I'd watch it.
On the other hand, Trump became president by running his public image into the fucking ground and left it buried 20 feet below the surface so it doesn't seem to hurt.
Frankly, his image is only 'bad' to ill-informed people like yourself who believe things they read on websites like facepunch. You know he was just elected president, right?
Frankly, his image is only 'bad' to ill-informed people like yourself who believe things they read on websites like facepunch. You know he was just elected president, right?
The media, including websites, doesn't have to do anything to make Trump's image look bad, he does that himself juuust fine.
I think that is because 99% of 18 year olds are stupid and immature.
99% of people are not fit to be president. If an exceptional 18 year old WAS fit to be president though, the stupidity of most others of his age shouldn't be a factor.
