What sub-genre of metals do you listen to? - General

Just folk metal thus far. And whatever Versailles are. People have called them power metal or symphonic metal or something. Whatever. Even then, I only listen to one song, and rarely at that.

Progressive mostly. Extreme too sometimes.

Nu and Folk metal

Mathcore, Grindcore, Goregrind, Thrash, Arniecore, all that good stuff.

main ones are death and prog/progressive, but i also listen to all the other main genres except black, core, industrial and nu.

Anything that sounds good, but mostly melodeath.

Post metal is genius, so is death, a bunch of -cores, and various sub-sub genres of progresive and technical metals, as much as those terms bug me [editline]02:38AM[/editline] I'm still pissed about Isis breaking up :(

Black, Melodeath, Folk and Symphonic are the ones I listen to mostly. Different combinations of the 4 above are extremely good, as shown by: Finntroll (Folk & Black, latest album shows Symphonic and Melodeath influences) Dimmu Borgir (Symphonic and Black) Eternal Tears of Sorrow (Melodeath and Symphonic)

Death, Progressive, Heavy, Industrial, Groove, some Deathcore, and whatever the hell Meshuggah is classified as.

Im one of those nu/alternative/heavy metal guys, you know like Korn, SOAD, Disturbed, Godsmack, etc.

Power metal, progressive metal, death metal, thrash metal, groove metal, traditional heavy metal, and even some metalcore (Mutiny Within technically is metalcore). Oh and melodeath and folk metal.
