Rourke dropped out because he wasn't offered as much money as he wanted.
Well that's the director's fault for casting him..
Hate to see Rourke's acting ability wasted away in these coming years. At least he has a damn good 80s legacy.

what a cunt
Still, I think Woody is a much better choice.
It's out.
I'll be seeing it either tonight or tomorrow.
Jesus christ, gotta see this, I didnt know it was out already
Seeing it this weekend, can't wait.
Christopher Walken somehow sells anything by being in it.

Oh shit ha
Yeah
This movie was magnificent. Very meta, and absolutely hilarious. Full of amazing performances. Every actor stole the show at some point.
[sp]I especially loved the part where Martin said "The first half would set it up like a standard run-of-the-mill revenge plot, but then, I don't know... they all just drive out into the desert, pitch a tent, and just talk for the rest of the movie."
*beat*
Billy: "What the hell kind of ending is that?"[/sp]
Or something along those lines. I don't remember the exact lines, I was laughing way too hard.

Sam Rockwell was my favorite part of course
I expect this to be completely brilliant.
Regarding Rourke dropping out, [sp]whenever Billy is describing his ending, you see "ROURKE" on one of the headstones in the graveyard[/sp]
That was fucking beautiful ahaha

go see it
fucking colin farrel always talking about the vietnamese...
Great movie, sam rockwell was fucking hilarious
this movie owns
it's so fucking self aware with its meta bullshit too
[sp]even makes a nod at how the women don't even do anything important and have like 3 lines each[/sp]
It's a great film, and I recommend go see it.
we got rid of this film at my cinema way too quickly
it was absolutely hilarious right up there with in bruges
Just watched it, brilliant film.
This is my favourite film I've seen in along time along with Django. So fucking funny I really wasn't expecting it and I didn't watch many trailers or read much about it so it was a pleasent suprise.
I think it was a lot better than In Bruge. Sam Rockwell stole the show, so good.
And I think Colin Farrell is a better actor when he does an American accent. There's just something about Irish accents that make it hard to take anything seriously.
I saw this movie last week with a couple of friends. It was really good, we were laughing our asses off during some parts. Sam Rockwell is a brilliant actor, his imitations of shooting sounds during the script scene sealed the deal.
