So weird how she looked more and more like her old self as the show went on.. especially when she got her hair cut.
maybe her scenes were shot in reverse order and she kept getting work done

because i noticed the same exact thing
Saw this on Reddit regarding why George Sr is turning into a pussy:
One of my favorite theories is that the maca root has properties that decrease testosterone and the presence of the commode means that the women in the colony have their birth control running down the hill and into the maca, affecting George's estrogen as well.
The reason why the maca's effects aren't affecting Oscar, Dr. Norman, or anyone else is that they use the sweat lodge to purify the body of the maca before it does any damage. George is the only one who doesn't frequently use the sweat lodge so the maca is still in his system, and as a result his masculinity diminished in the months of his colony's growth.

It kind of makes sense

but in interviews after filming she looks normal and like Lindsay
maybe they did some makeup and CGI stuff to make her look younger?
And now the story of a family who [sp]lost Buster[/sp]
so he basically removed half of the fun and intrigue of having to speculate and guess how everything ties in together.
nice
I know some of the revelations happen in different orders, but I would not suggest this re-edit to anyone who has not watched the new season in its intended order.
This is for people who did not like that the new season's episodes are focused on one person, rather than the whole cast.
I know it does take some fun out of the order of the show, but to me it really makes the new season feel like the old ones.

Or it's Oscar's lemons.
http://www.reddit.com/r/arresteddevelopment/comments/1fepav/
Something might be wrong with the lemons in Oscar's lemon grove...
http://arresteddevelopment.wikia.com/wiki/Lemon_grove
I think that the lemons in Oscar's grove are pumped full of estrogen for some reason. So when George Sr. is chugging all that sweet, sweet lemonade it has a huge effect on him. Meanwhile, Oscar hasn't had a drop of it as he's been dehydrating in the sweat lodge.
This explains why George Sr. has increased estrogen and is becoming more like Oscar. It also explains Oscar's entire character on the show (does it not?). All it took was him skipping out on his own lemons for a while to grow his balls back.
This is backed up (ever so slightly) in one of the quickest clues on the show.

In this WE retraction, the writer says, "He actually tried to get me to eat some crackers when I said I'd rather wait for room service than buy his SACCHARINE LEMONADE."
On any other show that would just mean the lemonade was overly sweet and didn't taste good. On Arrested Development however, we know how to revel in wordplay.
sac·cha·rine 1.Overly or sickishly sweet 2.Overly sentimental
Hmm. I guess both of them fall off a bit - because he would have stopped drinking the lemonade when he left the retreat.. right?
but neither of those theories explain why Oscar is suddenly becoming more manly
Sure they do, he stopped drinking the lemonade, he's sweating all of the chemicals or whatever out of his body
I just finished the season, really does get better as it goes along and you understand everything. Can't wait for S5 or the movie, whichever comes next.
I hope they have a bigger budget for the next season though, so all of the cast can be together more.

I think it's just a combined effect of the wig she wore for those scenes and how she just looks a little older

Still, younger Lindsay was best Lindsay.
OK, just rewatching it. The lemonade is definitely the mood changer.
There's a scene where micheal and gob go back to the model home and drink lemonade.. and the narrator says something like "and eventually the lemonade had softened their moods" or something like that.
Yeah, but that's because Mike's Hard Lemonade is alcoholic. They were getting gradually more drunk and open with each other.

yeah but they are drinking mike's hard lemonade, which is an alcoholic lemonade, and also not the same lemonade george sr drinks
Oh I fucked up then
Why was the lemonade there again?

I heard a rumor that she had tons of makeup put on for the show to mimic plastic surgery, just as a little joke of how shallow her character is.

I really want that "aaaaaaaah COINCIDEEEENCE" track that plays in the background every once in a while.
Just got back from the supermarket. Guy and her girlfriend were standing near me in the meats section, and the guy says, "Baby, you got a stew goin'!" I laughed.

If there's something I liked is how all the openings have some sort of flair depending on who's episode it is.
So Maeby's episode has someone humming along to the song, GOB's an electric guitar and Buster's an accordion.
After watching this season again, it becomes even better.
I love how most jokes you think aren't as good in the first few episodes end just being set-ups for later jokes.
Incredible season, I never expected that format to work for Arrested Development but it just does.
Watching season 1 right now. It's great!
