I've got to say, coming to FP to talk about relationships is like going to a PETA forum for advice of how to be a butcher.
But if you insist. I've been with my current GF for 4 years, we've been living together for 2 1/2 and guess it's been going pretty swell. The reason it works for us is we're not so much girlfriend and boyfriend more best buddys who fuck regularly.
We can do the whole romantic shit, we can sit down and make small talk, I can cook dinner and buy a bottle of wine. Or we can break out 'Splosion Man and play 2 player for the night and swill a fuckton of beers then watch a movie. She's a bit of a Tomboy, but we have a very similar sense of humour, she's not nearly as nerdy as me, but she can understand the general gist of whatever technoshit I babble.
We both earn money, we don't leech off of eachother, we keep it simple. For all I know we could be together for another 3 months or another 30 years. I just intend to enjoy it while it's good.
Is that so bad?
