Yeah if you've gone outside today you've probably seen someone with depression that you can't tell has it. This applies even heavier for women, some people are amazing at hiding problems.

No I'm not, alcohol is a depressant because it depresses your body I doesn't make you sad unless it has bad effects on you/you're bad at drinking. They're different things.

Depression isn't always obvious. You'd be surprised how often it goes unnoticed.

Probably will get grounded, only so much can happen when you get caught doing something like that. If that was me, and I was caught (especially during school I'd get my ass kicked) but I'd be grounded for a week or so.

I know lots of people who have been caught at school drunk(is that bad?), He'll probably just get sent to a Drug class and get some counselling.
If he lives in the US, he'll probably be taken away from his parents in the night by the federal government.

A few friends of mine got caught with liquor at school. One got expelled and the others got suspensions
Depends on the school. The worse thing for drug use is like, a 3 day suspension in my school. They can't really do anything about it.

A friend of mine came to school with beer in his bag and it got found, he got 2 weeks suspension.
Coming inebriated is probably a really long suspension borderline expulsion, but schools don't usually take offences to the police unless theres a victim (IE assault or harassment)

Being at school drunk during the day is the fucking weirdest experience. We got smashed for our last day of high school and it was fucking weird walking through all the crowds of younger kids.
I once knew a guy who would be Drunk by 10 or 11 in the Morning, hes father encouraged him to drink with him. the guy was a acne infected beach Bum.

I wouldn't mind getting free donuts just to pretend I was stupid.
Most likely a quick suspension, and then they would focus on why he did it and give him some help etc. That's what a good school would do anyway, but they could kick him out which wouldn't help at all.
Just make sure when he has to explain himself, he says that he's been having some problems and that he regrets doing it. Unless they think he's a thug who did it for laughs I doubt they would kick him out, that would just fuck him up even more.
When i was 15 during the lunch break we went over to one from the classes house (its very close to the school). Then we started drinking. Mostly vodka and bailey. Then we headed back to school. I got kinda in a fight with one from the class, and we got busted. My teacher told me to tell my parrents about it and she trusted that i told them :p But i never did lol
