My friend was recently caught going to school drunk. What can I expect to happen to him?

Friend of mine came to school after drinking a liter of spirits (can't remember what kind) over the course of the early morning, claiming "I can hold my drinks :downs:".

First period he vomits all over the floor. All that happened was a warning.

Then again I don't live in america so I don't know what will happen in your case.

I hate the person in the OP and most of the views contained within this thread. Just to clarify some points, alcohol is a central nervous system depressant, it doesn't "make you depressed", these are different things. Also, no, alcohol doesn't make make you happer (or is an "anti-depressant), alcohol has very few psychotropic functions, tending to simply aggregate and/or exaggerate the current feelings of the person. That being said, many depressed (in a psychological sense) feel solace in getting 'fucking up' simply to "escape" the current state of life, that's probably what you're referencing, although incorrectly, here.

Irrelevant of the fact that your friend may or may not have any problems, if he told anybody, or has told anybody in the past, that he was drunk, he deserves anything that's coming to him. If he told you that it was because he was chonically depressed or having troubles at home or whatever, I don't care; if he told you he was drunk he was simply attracting attention.

There was a chick in my school who came in first period wasted with a water bottle full of cranberry vodka. She got suspended for a week, I think.

My friend came into the school wasted with a bottle of Smirnoff in his hand. He told a bunch of people in the cafeteria to fuck off and told the principal to fuck off. He was only suspended for 2 days.

I know someone who went to school drunk.. She ended up getting the highest mark in a test that day
