This movie will be shit. It'll be 2 hours of some faggot monks walking around in mountains mumbling in some caveman language. Edit:
2012, the day hollywood drowns. THAT I can look forward to.
No, ending movies is a bad thing. Unless you want all your movies to be shitty indie films with budgets of 4.00$
How very ignorant of you.
I agree the movie is gonna be shit though somehow, though somehow, it'll be a box office hit with the masses I can only hope I'm wrong
Wasn't the earth "supposed" to end in 1997 and in 2000? Next it's going to be 2023, 2038,and 2666 WHERE WILL IT END?! :bees:

release date is in 2013. Edit:
2012, the day hollywood drowns. THAT I can look forward to. Edit: KING! :downs:
would the people in space be alive for the end of the world= not the end of the world, they can just land a week later :)
Haha sucker... I'll have been out of HS for a year when the 'apocalypse' strikes. But my gf will still be in school :( :bees:
I finish college in 6 months. Then it's off to uni.
Minus the ark, Noah, two of every animal, the Noah's Ark plot, and God. But it does have the flood, so one point for that.
Offscreen. You don't think they'd spoil the good part right away, do you?

That the world would be tilted, and all the creatures on Earth would be mutated. Best RPG-ish game I've ever played. Had alot of fun. Didn't happen, as you can see. :) But I believe The Day After Tomorrow more than anything as what will happen on 2012.
Looks pretty sweet to me. I may not believe in such an event however it looks like a great movie "what if ____ ".
Will you cunts stop with the Hollywood sucks bandwagon? Why don't you fucks go make a movie yourselves. snobs.
It's not really a bandwagon. It's more like people spreading the truth.
The Y2K craze had no basis which is what pisses me off about that shit. This has some small standing, I think it won't, but there's always a chance.
Actually it did have a basis. All the computers made before the year 2000 only had 2 digits for years. So instead of 1984 it would only say "84". So, in the year 2000 the computers would think that it was year 1900. So crazy people thought that computers would launch nukes and shit.
If the Mayans could predict the world would end in 2012, Why couldn't they see the Spanish coming?
If the Mayans could predict the world would end in 2012, Why couldn't they see the Spanish coming?
Pretty sure that the stars and astronomical things would not state an event so small in the actual meaning of things.
Pretty sure that the stars and astronomical things would not state an event so small in the actual meaning of things.
"Inchala, look! The world is going to end in 1500 years!" "Who cares? That's too far in the future" "Well, it also says some hispanic dudes are gonna kill us in-" "Hey, look over there! Natzati is stripping!" :excited:
Pretty sure that the stars and astronomical things would not state an event so small in the actual meaning of things.
The Logic that they can predict events by the size of their eventfulness does not work. If that is how it is can they predict a star being created? Alien life? The end of the Universe. Because you know, There are bigger things than our planet going bye, bye.

In this thread= people with serious doubts. Just because it sounds unrealistic DOESN'T mean it can't happen.
In this thread= people with serious doubts. Just because it sounds unrealistic DOESN'T mean it can't happen.
Do you honestly think there is the slightest chance that in just 2 years time a body of water large enough to casually roll over the Himalayas is going to magically appear?
I will enjoy not watching this when I'm 60
In this thread= people with serious doubts. Just because it sounds unrealistic DOESN'T mean it can't happen.
Everyone's still basing this idea that we all die in 2012 because of some dead natives who couldn't see they're very own demise. Plus the year 2012 is not confirmed that the Mayans say that the world will end then. People just want to cash in this idea and create false hysteria. look at Y2K for god's sake in 1999 people considered that as serious as this. The point is that 2000 and 2012 are not the only dates that were foreseen with the end of the world. http://www.religioustolerance.org/end_wrl2.htm http://www.bible.ca/pre-date-setters.htm And don't even say it's not UNREALISTIC, there is no scientific proof. Just your own belief and that what makes it true to you.
Dude, what about 2006!?! Ahh the devil!
Oh i forgot about that one. :4chan: But still the point stands that humans will continue to try to predict how everything ends if that means moving the deadline up on something that may never happen in the lifetime of our sun.
eh this is based on a theory. since major cultures report 2012 as being armegedon.the most famous evidence is the amazingly accurate mayian? calendar. it was very percise and it ends exactly on dec. 2012
Youtube shows its intelligence once more.
Three cheers for Hollywood, can't have the world end and not have a movie about it.
Bah! That's NOT what happened at 2012! It's a third world war not a damn waterfall. Epic fail movie is fail.
If we don't die in 2012, I'm gonna kill all of the people who believed it in 2013.
Is 2012 the end of humanity or the world? I can't remember.
I never heard of an "end of the world" theory based on the world spontaneously getting flooded? And if that happened, wouldn't only one part of the world get flooded that is nearest to the arctic? Edit:
Yay another movie like the Day After Tomorrow!
I liked the day after tomorrow :emo:
