Why do you have to shoot with that camera?
I had some photos I took today with it. It focuses slower than a fucking £50 sony point and shoot.
Here's another one I took in 2008 - I really like it.

So? You're not shooting sport or something.
Go out and shoot and realise it's the photographer and not the hardware.
One of my favourite "old gold" pictures
who is Samuel Norris on flickr? I'm fairly sure that they're from Facepunch, I'm just not good at lining up flickr names and facepunch names.
Yeah it's me.

I'm surprised anyone knew it was me, I've been really erratic with my uploads lately, but you guys have inspired me to upload more.

I can never get my shots in focus. It is always so hard with Dslr viewfinders to differentiate from "in focus" to "just barely out of focus"
:smith:
Most have a little 'focus dot' that appears when the point of focus is correct.
Look out for that.
Been doing some night time photography! I don't think they look amazing but some help would be nice.

Edit:
One more ( I think its too orange, but photoshop is being an anus and showing the colours incorrectly so it's hard to tell what it will come out like)

Well when it dosen't actually focus and completely misses "in focus", that is an issue
Oh here some I did earlier that day.

If you went out to shoot more, you'd learn how to adapt to it.
I used this piece of crap for a year [link], learned all it's faults and how to use them, took hundreds of great images with it.

The problem is that through the viewfinder it doesn't show up. It only appears on the back LCD and through the annoying auto-focus beep I've had turned off since day one.
Oh really?
What camera is it?

Why do I like this photograph so much. I can't stop looking at it, I think it's the colors.
My grandparent's farm in Tamworth:

I felt obligated to make a post about it, because I absolutely love this shot.
it's my friends camera, and quite frankly i have no idea how to change the aperture in a-priority since there is no dial. WHO THE FUCK DESIGNED THAT?.
No ISO button either.
Got bored and went into the creek by my apartment about an hour ago.

Meh.

Pentax Kx, though I may have disabled it. I will check once it finishes charging.

Some photos just look better black and white, there's nothing hipster about that.
Now random photos with sepia filters and text in Helvetica is hipster.
Black and white has nothing to do with hipster. It's black and white on every photograph of every object on the planet that is "hipster".
Unless you are shooting in black and white film.

A word of advice, it is easier to get the white balance and exposure right in the camera than it is to fix them in photoshop.
Regarding the first one, if it is at all possible avoid harsh shadows and and poorly lit areas at night. I would suggest using a tripod when shooting at night so you can get a sharp, mostly noiseless image. Tripods let you shoot at ISO100 which is great at night where noise is easily visible. It also lets you shoot with your apathetic stoped down to get more of the scene in focus.

The hipster part was a quote by some guy lecturing me about my pictures.
so ive been gone for three days, and i feel so behind.
anyways so with my 75-300mm lens i took some pics of the moon, yet i have encountered a problem.

this. the green reflection. Is that my uv filter? or the lens itself.
maybe it has to do with the f-stop or shutter speed?

You got in between my automerged double post. Bravo.
It looks to me like it could be the moons reflection off of some clouds? I've never seen anything like it so I can't be certain.
