Nice shots dude.
yay for watermarks! I think that out of all the people that watermark their images Brian Storey (and whatever his FP name is) is the only person that a) does it well and b) has a reason to.
He's got a line of text at like 8pt font. Not a big deal. In fact I'd watermark my images if I didn't take any time to do so. A watermark like that is no problem at all. Big obstructive watermarks are evil though.
this is for the jews (my flatmate is one)

Well that is just fantastic. I love everything about it, especially the reflection.
I know a majority of you are DSLR users that only use digital but I have a film question. Next week on my day off from finals I'm going to walk around San Francisco and take film pictures with Kodak Elite Chrome film. The film says it's for slides but I want to know if I can process them as normal photos or even turn them digital properly. I have seen the slides previously and the colors they produce are amazing. If it is possible, does anyone that lives in San Francisco want to tag along? It's going to be super chill.
It's possible, but very difficult. It would mean taking the negative slide and making a print out of it, the exact process I do not know but it's a start.

You can get the film scanned with a proper, dedicated film scanner.

Why thank you! I really like the reflection too!
Gah, I got the hood for my new lens, but the lens won't get here until tomorrow! :argh:
Going to be an early christmas this year! :buddy:

Looks like Tales From the Galactopticon to me.

I believe it's from the Galactopticon stuff everyone loves. I should check up on that, haven't seen anything since its early stages.
NINJA
Today me and the rest of my photo team had a great opening of our exhibition! I believe that +200 showed during the 3 hour opening. It was great!
I just wanted to share this with you guys since it's a really big deal for me as a photographer!
Some eggs for your perusal

As soon as i came back from school, i was deciding weather to dedicate myself to a '52 weeks' project.

I like the second one where he's looking at the camera the most out of all those. It seems like it captures the guy's personality well. I like the repeating light/dark patterning and how it goes both left to right and bottom to top, and how the most contrasty part of the image is at head-level so the eyes are drawn to his face.
Who is the guy? I've seen tons of pictures of him by you. Seems like he enjoys having his photo taken-- you're lucky to have a willing model :P.

I think you should. It will definitely be less straining to have 7 days dedicated to one shot.
I'm starting mine in January, because that's when I get back to the US from my foreign exchange in Brazil and will have a lot of time on my hands (and a car!).

its either him on a timer, or his twin brother.
(seriously)

You kind of look like Dexter, Pic for comparison.

Right, that ones not that good, here, this ones a little better.

I don't see it..
At all.
I love it when people try so hard to see celebrities in other people. It's silly.
I know, like everyone keeps comparing me to Putin

Thanks, i don't know why i really enjoyed the first one and the third more. Merely because in the first one it's showing the back of the head and the third because the focus is on the trees instead!
and yeah, as tehfrog said, it's me with a timer

I'll probably start mine in January too. I think i done enough days of a 365 to realise how irritating it is. Also, i'll probably be driving by February so that'll help!

had to take it with the flash on since it was rather dark outside
Those posts are scary

Having a car really allows you to get some great shots with the freedom of travel it brings.
You can go back to places you saw previously whenever you like etc.
