The mixing deck (1087) is pretty good.
waylander, why don't you use flickr?
Don't they either A) Have a storage cap for free accounts B) Charge money ? Edit: I think it's always a good thing to at least correct the white balance before simply converting it to black and white, so I gave it a go. Dumbed down the saturation by -16 too, and it's impossible to get rid of the bluish cast without making the photo lean very heavily towards another color besides blue/cyan because of the sky reflecting off of the snow and everything. That's why UV filters are a godsend, they fix that problem very well.
Don't they either A) Have a storage cap for free accounts B) Charge money
A) They don't have storage caps but you are only allowed to upload 2 videos and 300MB worth of photos each month. B) The cost of a flickr pro account is only 25 bucks a year, which is worth it considering how good it is!
i never got around to paying for flickr pro plus noone comments on stuff unless you post to a billion groups and flickr users cant take criticism and delete critical comments, fuck that
i never got around to paying for flickr pro plus noone comments on stuff unless you post to a billion groups and flickr users cant take criticism and delete critical comments, fuck that
Forget about the flickr community, the critique on flickr is non-existant. There is facepunch for that! I meant use it as a storage instead of imageshack, but fair enough mate
flickr have started hiding my old photos, unless I upgrade
i havnt logged in there for a while but dpreview were starting a premium service iirc that might be worth using, you can usually get some good feedback in there forum and they run a lot of good competitions

[hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fus8i7JEWao[/hd] not bad for a £40 stereo mic, minimal clipped samples, but more crowd noise than i would have prefered recording at 24/48 or 24/96 with a external audio capture device would eliminate the clipping without having to mess around with the gain simply because of the added headroom. as for the video the stage lighting was a bitch, they had some big ass strobes than did nothing but blind me and cause rolling shutter, would be nice to get a superclamp so i can clamp that bitch to the nearest railing holding a dslr with grip for 10minutes+ is seriously tiring, monopod would work maybe and i have quite a tall one but the security on the door would possibly give me hassle carrying something like that

Loving it as usual latir, chuffed to bits.
Sounds quality is very good considering you were in the crowd, what mic is it?
audio technica atr6250, the next mic up from that price wise seems be the Rode video mic

Is that a laser?
Is that a laser?
Pretty much [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] too much exposure makes the beam go violet.

If anyone feel like reading my post here http://haslehurst.net/2010/12/my-month-of-film/ it would be great to get some feedback on how well I have deconstructed my images. I think I am doing an alright job although at times it feels like my descriptions get messy.
Looking for a good pair of gloves which would let me operate my camera in pretty much all weathers, since my hands were almost frozen off when i was last out photographing
Fingerless anything. What I do. Also, just ordered a Nikon intervalometer <3.
