CC please? :D [editline]23rd December 2010[/editline] Also Opera seems to be messing with the colors in my images, so if you're on Opera, open it in another browser or download it. [editline]23rd December 2010[/editline] Heres a hint: the colored bokeh should be red, not purple.
Me and my brother went outside to play with our dog. I brought my parents camera with me. Here are the best results. [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2670708/JUL%202010/PC230051.JPG[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2670708/JUL%202010/PC230052.JPG[/img_thumb]
But I am wondering if the L-series is worth it.
are you making money from your photography? sure otherwise, not really, with like one or two entry-level Ls excepted
Love the bokeh.
Christmas is very bokehlicious.
Indeed.
Ok guys, what am I doing wrong? I want to improve. :) [img_thumb]http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2010/326/7/7/record_player_by_tobolate-d33eaq1.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2010/342/8/d/snow_flowers_by_tobolate-d34i2y4.jpg[/img_thumb]
They are nice, but the motives lack power. The second one doesn't really have a point of interest, and lacks the colors needed to compensate for the meh-ish composition.
I agree with H4Z3Y. They are seperate things, but today, with the huge use of digital, I don't think using 'grain' to describe noise is wrong.
Grain can look nice, noise can't.
A little something I put together in our photography class. We were using unsuspected objects that would correlate to the shadow it created. In this case, a tapeworm. Thought it turned out alright. I don't. [editline]24th December 2010[/editline] Oh god, I'm in an awful posting mood. I might leave for a while :)
I dislike bokeh 90% of the time because it's done in the same gimmicky ways.
Well, it's not super creative, but its fucking neat Was chilling in the woods on Cyprus (ski mountain in Vancouver, BC) and the birds decided to come hang

Okay, probably a rather stupid beginner question here, but a quick one at that. My question is: If you shoot in RAW and correct your WB with ACR or Lightroom, is there any need to use but Auto on your camera? Don't make any assumptions, I'm learning and want to learn to use the correct one. I just wanted to know.
I want a birdie as well!
[img_thumb]http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/5784/imgp0144copy.jpg[/img_thumb]
Great job putting focus on the cats eyes, and I love how the eyes blend in with the background.

It also means that if you are batch editing a set, say, on an overcast day, you can set the white balance for the entire set in a few clicks.

This is not an exposure thing, I see it just now through my eyes, it's so weird. By the way, is there any reason that all of my photos look washed out when I upload them? When I first uploaded this shot it looked like this
