Found this one very interesting. I was stuck in the confines of a vehicle, so the angle is awkward to say the least. The whole thing almost gives me a brain aneurysm, but is also visually pleasing in a sense.

Do you keep the screen protector on your D90 roll? And were you next to George Square around 5-6?
Yeah, I keep it on because why not?
And is that am or pm? If am, I was there, drunk, 4-5am-ish wearing a t shirt with a tiger on it in the 0 degree weather.

Ok here's every single one of my new years party shots, made small and put in a big sheet. I think it's better because, being drunken party shots, there's not gonna be any super amazing pieces of art. This way you get the whole experience, and that's what matters with party photos.
It's 6mb so watch out

I really wish my huge lens wouldn't block out the flash.
I'll post bigger versions of the better ones if anyone wants.

super amazing-- probably not, you can still be artistic even if you're smashed and your friends are boring (and I'm not calling your friends boring)
storm at sundown. nothing special, but i like the mood it gives off.
Here is a shot of mine with some shitty attitude.

Is that a typo of altitude? Because shitty attitude would be "that's a shit photo give up, fuck off and never post again."

Just noticed the shit.

cos i saw someone with a D90 around 5pm, looking down towards a church and photographing it. Prolly (like highly likely) not you.
Weekend efforts. Was the first photographer on the scene when a boat was on fire, but missed the actual fire itself because it was already out.
Pick and blur are great, and I have to give extra mention to latircole as one of my inspirations, especially when I first came here. and of course Dai keeps me in check ;)
Aww!! Thanks guys!! This means alot to me!! This is the best place on the internet for me right now!
Here's an experiment I'm trying off. I want to take pictures for cookbooks since I'm quite fascinated by some pictures.

Sorry for all the images, I just wanted to share!
Happy new year by the way!
Those are wonderful. I love the vibrant aqua-to-yellow sky in the snow pics. The food pics are great too, i don't think you'll have much trouble getting some in books if you keep at it.
Some more shots I took this weekend:

Thanks!
I hope I have a chance. I have a friend who is working on a cookbook, and I need to convince her that my pictures are the best... And cheapest.
Posted this in the other thread, thought it might be more suited here

Hey guys fun thing to try.
Take a UK train ticket, and your DSLR. Pop open the flash. Hold the orange strip up to the flash, and take a picture. Observe results. Have a bucket of water handy.

Would love me some C&C
Good composition in the first picture, but perhaps a lower position would have been nice too. Like if you were crouching or lying down.
Edit: and the second is gone :v:
Thanks!
- Gone? What?
Oh you, I like the second shot too but the boat seems alittle too dark if it's the main subject.
I see what you mean. I'll try to lighten it up.

Brought out the boat more and generated more space on the bottom of the image to get the whole rim of the boat in.

alright
A tad overexposed, but this was back in the fall.
