here's an old one that i only just remembered to put up

still not quite sure if i'm completely happy with the colours, tell me what you think
in unrelated news, i've just received a tamron adaptall 2 28mm f/2.5 manual lens that i ordered on ebay a few days ago, it's entirely made of metal (uh, except for the optics of course) and is overall rather nice! =D also, it can be stopped down to a rather excessive (and counterproductive due to diffraction) f/32!
note to self: buying new shit for the camera (however cheap it may be) is probably the worst way to reacquire motivation to go out and shoot more
Move away from an empty, solid black background. You might as well have doodled this up in photoshop (your work shows technical skill and it's a great way to learn the camera, though). Add a subject, some content. Basically, take a picture and put some light painting 'over' it. You can get really creative if you don't rely on the light-paint itself to make the entire picture. Put differently, you should re-imagine the shot with light. The light painting shouldn't be your stereotypical someone spelling a word or neat glowing orb in the background. The light should be part of a subject.
Do you have a larger version of this? like one that could be a wallpaper?
(took it down)
Metal optics are the best optics.

Oh shit I should have said something. It's not mine. I took the image from a Gizmodo article, but it can be seen on pmassuw's flickr.
Skam those shots look like they are out of mirrors edge. (infact all your photos do, it's awesome)
