yes ur friend is ugly
thats p. obvious, it's not critique my faggot friend [editline]18th January 2011[/editline] also,
I liked the B/W pictures, they actually work well as B/W and have a cetain feel to them, like there's a story. The other shots, however, look like you just went for a walk to the train.
thats p. obvious, it's not critique my faggot friend [editline]18th January 2011[/editline] also,
Sure you shouldn't snip that free photo book code?
it's a pretty generic code, if it's chosen from a small allotment of codes it'll be tied to his flickr user anyways
Yeah. Spose we're nice in this thread either way.
I won't get it.
ugh
come to think of it, my snapfish offer was like 50 free prints, not a photobook. :raise:

But his music is about him traveling around Scotland and I didn't feel like taking out my DSLR in Glasgow Queen Street.
I pretty much did it to show y'all i can do other things than self portraits. I just like doing self portraits
Hey I like your self portraits. Still nice to see something different. Especially something like that.
We've both got 500Ds. It is possible to get a remote shutter button to trigger two cameras then?
two rf triggers on the same channel, will cost about £5 per trigger on fleabay
here's a really fake macro of my scarf, I had to stop it down to like f8 and it STILL was hardly in focus lol ISO 6400
Hey I like your self portraits. Still nice to see something different. Especially something like that.
Well, thanks , i really just want to see if i can do some proper experimenting with self-portraits. Not just the standard.
Just got back from rehearsals for my schools winter production. Because our drama club historian is technologically inept, I played photographer throughout the rehearsal. Today was the first time we did tech. so our lights programmer was messing with the light levels throughout the entire rehearsal. Was quite a pain to deal with, but tomorrow should be better.
two rf triggers on the same channel, will cost about £5 per trigger on fleabay
i can confirm most of the canons are on the same i've triggered 5 different canon cameras one by one with the same rf remote before
I have a little bit of something still stuck in my viewfinder, it's really buggin me but here is a video I shot with my new camera. Not photography but hell it's done with a dslr so meh.
1:14 was awesome, cinematicly speaking.
So I've spent the last few days looking around town for painted power boxes. Basically every power box in the city has been painted over with trippy designs and flowers and stuff. So my summer project is going to be documenting Every. Single. Powerbox. in the city, and making a book for it. Would you all want a copy Y/N? Right now I've found about 11 of the damn things and I think there's more. Nobody in this pothead town has ever thought about it except me so I've made it my goal.
1:14 was pretty awesome, also liked the footsteps at 1:53. Constant auto-focus adjustments were buggin' me though. Shooting video, you should try to be in manual, though I know it's not too predictable when playin' with the guys on bikes, but having that control is pretty helpful. Also, go to your local book store and find the photography books. Dig up the ones that are basically boring 365 books about one person's mornings or something and contact that publisher with your idea :v:

There is no auto focus so I was manually trying to focus on things, kinda going for that "look" but its a bit hard to pull off. I figure the issue is sporadic zooming, I need to try and set up my shots better in one zoom setting so then its easier to focus on things better, that and use a tripod..
ah, that's an odd one then. I've also been told to not zoom when filming video, it causes you to shake the camera too much, plus not being able to keep focus in place simultaneously and all that.
Just two more months until I can drive. Pictures of the one mile radius around my house are getting boring, especially in winter. Once I get my license I can drive 20 minutes one way and be in DC and Alexandria. 20 minutes the other way I am in farmland in the middle of nowhere. 40 minutes west I am in the Appellation Mountains. Oh the opportunities. [editline]18th January 2011[/editline] Step One: Take off lens, lock up the mirror Step Two: Compressed Air Step Three: No more dust
I cleaned it too many times to count. It just wasn't worth the risk of damaging the sensor in the end to me.
Took these two from a car as well: DSC_5261 by edwin.quast, on Flickr DSC_1342 by edwin.quast, on Flickr

Makes a great wallpaper.
Some photos I took while exploring a train depo with Bengley: They were taken with my 7 year old point and shoot, I would like some tips on how to improve as I am getting a DSLR soon.

Still great to know that while the earth is dead and radiation is everywhere you take brilliant shots :v:
b-hazard- that last photo would look absolutely amazing if you had just gotten sign and gravel in the shot, I'm not much a fan of the relatively new train sitting right behind it. Play with opacity until happy. :buddy:
