Apparently some of you guys didn't like my post on my previous photos, so I promised to do some more work on them, there's nothing fancy about the photos, we were just messing around, but I still want them to look as nice as possible. I like my first version so much, that it's hard to do a new, but I gave it a try. What do you guys think? :/ RAW photo. Old version with less "extreme". B/W. Cross process. ^ what are you doing
^ what are you doing
What do you mean ?
As in, what are you doing in the photo I think as it looks slightly odd. The black and white one was best to me personally. It reminds me of some old fashioned comedy or something due to the expression on your face.
Screaming at rage towards the lens. You mean you don't do it? :jerkbag:
2nd one is good, and 3rd too [editline]05:30PM[/editline] but maybe the last one is the best [editline]05:33PM[/editline]
Like I'm invisible. Maybe it's the way I dress - I look more like photographer/journalist, and not like some hobo (Wasn't talking about you guys) (made this pic just for this purpose) SOLAR FLASSH
Invisible maybe in the castro.

Doing some photoshoot work tomorrow, recreating a few old pieces of art, primarily Bernini Theresa (Theresa in Extasy). Much photochopping will be had.

Wanted to spend my day off at the Zoo, but the humidity was a real dick. Got maybe an hour worth of photos in, but one came out pretty good:
Here's my lightning pics...

The above post is a perfect example of where a little post processing can really benefit an image. All I did was up the contrast and saturation to make the 2 women "pop" and then dodge the sky.
um, it looks exactly the same?
Nope, although the changes are very subtle.
Please judge me. I had already edited the photo, I can see little difference between mine and yours. The red seems a bit washed out there though.
The only difference is the sky is a bit darker. I don't think it helped at all really.
[img_thumb]http://i866.photobucket.com/albums/ab229/Boostah/DSC_15077.jpg?t=1279408106[/img_thumb] Good / Bad?
I'm liking the colours of the clouds, and the simplicity of the one mast. I think it's good
I am trying to find a lens that is good for further distance images that I want to zoom into. An example being this image I saw on flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/minta360/4738207612/. I am tired and fed up of skimming through amazon and ebay and getting more confused by the minute, can someone give me a suggestion? :saddowns:

Can't help you yet.
Sorry forgot to mention that. I have a Nikon D3000, I guess I want one obviously as cheap as possible but good quality. I have plenty of money right now but it'd be nice if it stayed around/under the £100 range or so. I am only a hobbyist.

You could go a little shorter and still get a good lens, though. Something like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nikon-55-200MM-F4-5-5-6-VR-Black/dp/B000O161X0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1279418328&sr=1-3
