Good / Bad?
It's good, but the aesthetic balance puts me off just a bit.
Well I asked her and she provided a photo of what she used:

The tele conversion lens when I googled it was around the 100 pounds region. These are just extensions you add onto another lens right?
I have been looking quite a lot at the 55-200mm lens though and was wondering if this would do sort of what I want at my price range so it is great to have some confirmation off of someone else. Thank you. :h:

Not a fan of kits like those, honestly. I'd go for the dedicated lens rather than a teleconversion kit.
Yeah I looked at a few different ones and read their reviews. Quality and distortion was mentioned to be an issue with some of them. Will go for that 55-200mm will probably more than enough for what I need hobby wise.
You could also go for the sigma 70-300.
I had a look and my one concern is the lack of Vibration Reduction with the Sigma. I am quite shaky with the camera so I was wondering what your own experiences were with it if you have used it?
If you could go back a couple posts and please critique my photos, it'd mean a great deal.

The first three are nice, color wise and composure wise. Although, the blurry leaf in the first one is a bit annoying and the fact that the post is in between two 'thirds' bothers me. The others are bland and have no real subject and/or aesthetic value.
Just saw this on the street :v:

Any unseen by me mistakes that I should improve on? I only started doing photos a week ago.

I prefer the first, the second would have been better if the window framed the entire image in portrait instead of just "being there" at the bottom.
Since everyone is showing lightnings:

I actually found the 4th one to be the best one. If you actually looked at it, you'd find that it's very deep.

Bad Quality + You missed the subject?
Beautiful Killuah, the first is my favourite.
Sadly storms here are rare and all we get is sheet lightning. :saddowns:

why do I have the strange feeling I'm about to be attacked by antlions
Because you associate it with Half Life 2.

Deep?
It's an empty chair in the woods with a swing. It's slightly blurry and desaturated. Wouldn't call it "deep"

I'd feel like in prison living there.
The tomatoes are in season here! Picked fresh from the garden outside the house:

Some random monochromes I got the other day:
I'd feel like in prison living there.
Corbusier didn't really believe in privacy. That's why he designed that building with a lot of public space and very little privacy for the residents. So it would probably feel like a prison. Many of his buildings are designed for the people to adjust to them, rather than the buildings adjusting to the people (which is a very flawed concept in my opinion, one of the many reasons why I don't like Corbusier as an architect).

That's exactly what I thought :v: The atmosphere that day was just like during highway 17.
The island's a few hundred square miles, but with a tiny population. Driving along the coastal road on a gloomy day without coming across another soul and then seeing that.
