I sometimes like to mess with images in photoshop for practise. Level changes and sharpening all that simple stuff. More as practise to get the colours looking natural as the technique isn't hard I just like to train my eye (yeah I am not making sense I guess?)

I hope you don't mind me playing with your photo I really loved the one of the sea it is beautiful. :h:

This looks like it could be underwater imo, other than that it's not very interesting.

The only reason I took pictures that day was because we only have a few weeks before the oil from the BP spill gets here.

They aren't very good but it's more of a test to see what the canon 7d can do. All were taken at very low-light situation eventhough that's not very noticable

In my opinion you should work on composition. The subject of all four photos is in the center of the photo. Your photos would benefit of a more interesting composition.

It's a project where you take photo's everyday for a year (hence 365). It helps the photographer improve majorly in my opinion.

These are some attempts at adjusting levels in photoshop. I also focused on composition when shooting. The day isnt over so im going to get my 2/365 later :)

I dunno why but I like to centre stuff too much but you're right. Sometimes I have equivalent photos where it isn't centre and I end up picking the centre one.

I'll try and choose more different angled ones next time. :buddy:

howd you do that selective colouring? i have seen a ps plugin to do that but it cost $200

It's generic and boring, but it was the best looking out of the shots I forced myself to take haha. I bought a 35mm at a thrift store and have been playing with that all day so I might have some interesting scans later.

Every other image loads for me except your new one bopie. It loads about 1/4 and then just freezes up.

I had to make it black and white because the colors ended up extremely washed out. And I need a new lens, preferably a telephoto. She kind of looks like an elf because of my lens. :v:

Security was all over the damn place. Every time one of them passed by I had to hide my camera to my side so they didn't see it. And some people were actually trying to get me in trouble for bringing the camera to the concert.

Anyways, I need to get a new lens and stop using my kit lens. It's not really preferred for portrait shots at all because the barrel distortion on it is pretty extreme for closeup shots. Any good lenses you guys can recommend me?
