the landscape ones are cool but the ones with the ball are terribly blurry, and the last one, that boat is an eye catcher, cut it out.

well the balls were sharp from the beginning but i decided to fix some things up. In real life that bounceball is really worn out. but I'm going to fix some more photos of it.
What boat? oh that one, have such high contrast on my screen so it happens that some things disappear in the dark.
EDIT: fixed the boat now :)

do you have the originals of the ones with the ball?
also, that watermark is a little unnecessary.

well yeah it's a bit irritating but Im a bit worried about people stealing my work + the deviant art watermark is disastrous

2-5 minutes
Stealing your work, its that easy.
people are going to steal your work, its inevitable. If they want to, they will.

:/ yeah I have actually think about that it's possible for some people to photoshop it away.
but still why not have a watermark? changed it to something better but it is still possible to erase it for some.

Becuase big ones like that distract from the picture. But if you insist to have a watermark, make it small, and inconspicuous and something like just your last name, not a big clunky full name.

Yeah. have done two small ones with the current year and with my initials, the first one is dark transparent and the second is white transparen.

Holy moly, I didn't actually see the boat for a long time. The reflection of the trees raped my perception :(
The other ones were good though, I liked the green bouncy ball ones! Simple, yet creative. :smug:
Well thanks for all the cheers and hints :D
Oh and other tip for sharpening images is using the High-Pass filter. Duplicate the photo layer, apply filter, set layer to multiply (or overlay, or whatever works for your specific image), and adjust the opacity until you reach the desired result.
Also daijitsu, my condolences for you man.
Do you guys have any tricks for making colors in your photos more "Vibrant"?
coco the second iteration of the gc is awesome in comparison. I like it a lot.

Thanks, it still feels lacking of something for some reason.

Bumping up saturation is an option. In Lightroom there is an actual Vibrance Slider (as well as in Photoshop when editing RAWs).

Aw, I thought this was the creative pornography thread. Bob Saget!
Pissing around in Lightroom got me from this:

This really is a photographers wondertool.
Photography related, since I took a picture of the animal and the print. :v: There's a lady that's been coming into my store a lot recently getting pictures blown up. One day, she wanted a tiger enlarged, when I told her I had plenty of photos of tigers, she wanted to see my whole gallery. I offered her any picture I had for free (minus the price of printing of course), so long as I get to see them when they are done.
She's brought back several, and it's so cool to see what she does with them. The last time, she brought a Snow Leopard, a Giraffe and this Red Panda. She wouldn't leave the store until I picked my favorite one out of the bunch and took it as a gift.
It's so cool :buddy:

I want to get a Canon 7D so bad. No just for the photography features, but also for the movie features. I currently have a Nikon D200 and I love it, but the movie feature from the 7D really appeals to me.
It's just that I would have to sell all my lenses and D200 body just to get the 7D body.
fuck I really want it.

Depends on how invested you are in Nikon glass. Besides Nikon is due to release info on their latest camera soon. I would at least wait for the announcement and it's features. This way if the new Nikon body has solid video functionality you might as well stick with them. If not, you haven't really lost anything.
Here are some pictures from my endeavors around London.
It was the Queen's birthday on Saturday. The RAF had a flyover with a large number of planes. The Red Arrows topped it off (sadly a bus obstructed my view :saddowns:)

What kind of camera did you use? And what settings?

Well I am not that invested in my glass and stuff(18-55 kitlens, 50 mm 1.8, sigma 70-300 and the mb-200 battery pack) so it's not a biggy, but I can wait for an announcement i guess.
My college got me very interested in filming and seeing how capable the 7D is with shooting films, I would take the step of going from Nikon to canon.
it just rained, so seized my advantage

I use the nikon D60 and this shot was using a 35mm lens. 1/50 sec at f 1./8 exposure and ISO 100.
