I saved it in elements and I did make it yellowish for a reason hehe
Why? It looked to yellow and un natural. Were you going for a dawn/dusk thing where the light is more golden? Needs to be more subtle.
buy a tele or get a press pass and get close
I'm not made of money. I'll probably ask for a Tele for Christmas.
Besides, a tele wouldn't have helped at the distance I was. It would have been way too blurry.

Just got my 1000D today, I've never had a camera like this, so I would really like some constructive criticism.
It's a bench in my backyard by the way :keke:
Nice merging. How'd you get it so the waves aren't different? Might have been better if you cropped out the guy on the right.
What kind of camera did you shoot it with?
Olympus SP560UZ DSLR
I tried to do a panorama but can't find nice software. I tried clevr stitcher but it always leaves ghosting in places no matter what images I use. :smith:
microsoft ICE is the best i tried (least ghosting and simplest) but i only used baraka bluray source not tried my camera yet
Thank you for the response waylander I'll try that.

did you shoot that one in RAW, because if not you could probably have underexposed and shot the whole exposure without blowouts
C&C welcome
maybe a 2.6GHz C2D is outdated technology, but your post really slowed down my browser with all the in-browser-resized images, could you use actual thumbnails since imageshack provides them?
That was as best as I could get it with the raws in lightroom before I then stitched it. The sky was very faded and I changed it to show more cloud definition but at the same time trying to make the colours not go too odd. Was a bit tough. :saddowns:
I could do with an ND filter anyway it improves how skies and horizons look giving them more definition from what I have read about online in my research.

I'm guessing by using the photo that had the splash as the background layer.

Thoughts?
How did you merge them all together? What program, ect.
And I was experimenting on gmod with some of my photography tricks. This is what i ended up getting.

Hard to do a 365 with nothing interesting around.

click on one and look around on my flickr ok ;))
Good color and contrast on all of them.
The bokeh one is a little cliche, throw in a sharply focused subject and you have an awesome photo.
The lady at the counter is my favorite.
Should I start a 365 too?
Couldn't hurt lol.
I'm only six days in and am having alot of fun with it.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good looking photo. I've just seen it a million times.

Thank you, that's the wonders of a 365, except it's strange because there are only like 10 pictures out of my whole 365 i actually like!

I have this problem nearly every week, still don't know how to solve it.

Love the colour on each picture, favourite is the one of the multicoloured hot air balloon.
What is the difference between .RAW and .JPEG? Are there more attributes to be changed on RAW ?
.RAW stores more information per pixel. This means you can bring back details and edit your photo more than when you would've saved it as a .jpeg.
