Never thought of the student one. So obvious.
Anyways, just went on a ride to the rival school's parking lot and a nearby shopping center.

Normally I ride brakeless, but I didn't want the extra risk with my camera, and all the extra momentum from my bags makes it harder to stop. Good to have an 'oh shit' lever sometimes.

it has a printable pdf and link to us and au sites, also worth mentioning is in the uk the rules on random stop and search were changed very recently (made illegal by the EU) they probably havnt updated that pdf to reflect that yet. but at the end of the day law dont mean jack shit if cops make there own up stoping photographers under section 44 which is total bollocks and the local pedo patrol has a go every time they think you might be taking pictures of kids

Ooops, I already broke the bank note one long ago. :ohdear:
I have wanted to take some pictures around the local play park due to the cool shapes but I never will due to fear of people taking it the wrong way. I hate society today. :smith:
Bring someone to be a 'subject' and have them stand just out of frame of your shots.
I might be able to persuade my friend to do it because he is pretty out going - and he owes me one anyway for helping him with some Uni work. Good idea. :buddy:
I do hate that you can't take pictures in public today without being instantly judged as a stalker/paedophile/god knows what. Most of the time it doesn't bother me and if I see someone else with a camera I tend to just ignore them and not care.
I've only be shouted at once for taking photos outside. Just bring all your camera gear with you, makes you look pro so no one cares.
I usually take all my stuff and am usually ignored this was the first time someone approached me but I have received plenty of looks. :v:
Though since I started doing photography, my fitness is improving due to all the walking. So at least there is a good side - seems a more fun way to get simplistic exercise than some ways I have done before.
Probably helps if you're a clean cut dude, and if you have a girl your age with you (i.e. a gf), people don't expect weird shit from you. If you are a girl, that works better. haha.
I remember at a football game last year my friends pointed out how creepy the protographer that was staring in our direction was. He had that pedophile 'aura' some middle aged dudes put off, but I could tell he was just trying to get some good crowd shots. The hot mom down on the track decked out in spirit gear doing the same thing went unnoticed.
I'm just not a pretty enough girl. :c
I'll have to dress up next time I go take pictures. I agree with you though some people just give off the wrong aura unintentionally.
Wow just got my 14mm to my 5d, if wide lenses were cars, it's like they took koenigsegg and then modified it with 4 turbochargers and vtec and a rocket booster.

Oh, lol. I took that as a sarcastic remark. I get some of that.
Don't wanna derail, but what are you working on? Track build? Road conversion? Fixed gear freestyle?
I want a proper freestyle track frame, like a volume cutter or something, but I'm content with my road conversion for now.

Road conversion of an old British Aluminium Viscount. A freestyle one would be crazy though.

It's grown up BMX, lol. I can only fakie and one leg skid, but its just a fun scene to be into.
Check out prolly is not probably. It's like the gizmodo of fixies. It covers all sorts of stuff from vintage to insane freestyle, to track racing.
I read this as "Creative Pornography"
Good for you.
Damn you, I just dropped $550 on a new BMX and now you've got me wanting a freestyle fixie...;)

Sell it as fast as you can lol!
Lurk around here for some ideas on building a setup and where to get the parts.

Not my best, not my worst. I took this about a month ago when I was still trying to get used to my new camera.

Just testing my 14mm lens
I like the 'fisheye' effect. But it looks weird because it's both uphill and downhill, I think.
