Ooohh. Digging the colors on that one. HDR?
Yes but only with minor adjustments. I used three images to get only the exposure right, not to go all LOL HDR because no one should do that. Ever. Aside from that, it's un-altered.

I just thought it was because the sky and tractor were exposed in a way that wouldn't really happen without HDR.

I wasn't implying that you were implying that I was implying that :v:

Khaos - those are beautiful shots. They are a little boring though. You don't have subjects, just empty backgrounds. Kimr - Good display of technical skill. Boring artistically though, its the same as every other startrail. If you could find a way to work in some silhouettes of trees or something creative and different, it would be awesome. Also if you resize your images, they look a lot better(that goes for everyone). It's irritating when you have to scroll to get a look at an entire photo. Not only that, but when you reduce image size, the image looks sharper. See?
Good idea. It was just a test but for next time I'll try to make something like your idea. Well yes it gets more sharper but I'm a little lazy with resizing. Made a smaller version now
Get rid of that awful watermark
It's my picture I'll do whatever I want!
It's my picture I'll do whatever I want!
make it at least small so we don't have to look it for too long then
make it at least small so we don't have to look it for too long then
The whole thread is filled with big pictures. Go hide in a cave, your trolling attempts sucks!
The whole thread is filled with big pictures. Go hide in a cave, your trolling attempts sucks!
not as much as that picture does. boring image, nothing interesting in the image, just like bopie said. try to use a wide lens and get a guy smoking a fag on the cliffs or something in the image. [editline]06:41PM[/editline] also nice vignetting there, PS can get rid of it

last one is rad. The colours, the blur. Really like it, but you should have tried to get the whole red thingy in focus.
last one is rad. The colours, the blur. Really like it, but you should have tried to get the whole red thingy in focus.
Yeah I probably should have.
I really like the leaf photo but the stem being out of focus is somewhat distracting. Only criticism I have on these two is try to get the whole subject in focus, but other than that they're brilliant.
Go hide in a cave, your trolling attempts sucks!
Now now, childrens. Stop bickering.
I love this thread, so many awesome pictures, but this resort has such shitty internet it takes forever for them to load :gonk: Really digging both those photos, Larpar, but the needle-thing getting in the way of the red of the flower is a bit distracting. Loving the leaf in the first one, don't find the out of focus stem distracting, I think it adds to the picture in a positive way, it blends in better to bring out the colours of the main part of the leaf more. Here's another photo of mine from Thunder Bay: [img_thumb]http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs40/i/2009/028/e/4/Through_the_Fog_by_F_TangKrazee.jpg[/img_thumb] Unfortunately timestamped again. I can't really do fancy effects with my old point-and-shoot digital, so I try and take pics of nature I find "creative." Take from the above what you will, I thought it looked cool, I don't see foggy forests often in the city.

And thanks for the feedback.

If you toned down the processing on the first image I think it would be perfect. Right now it's a bit too much. The same goes for the second one. The third one is rather boring to be honest. It's also incredibly noisy which is kinda bothering me. The forth one is actually pretty cool. I can't really decide if I like the overdone HDR or not. I do like the contrast between the sky and tractor though.

The first two look rather nice, but they look like a mix between a painting and a photograph. Not sure if you were going for this effect, and it doesn't look bad, but I feel it may be blurring some of the finer details, mostly in the darker areas and more in the first one than the second one. The third does have too much noise, it draws focus away from the subject. The last one looks the most like a painting out of them all, and I can't help but be distracted by the one dude's bright yellow hair just off to the left. It kinda looks like if I were to crank the digital vibrance setting on my graphics card all the way up.
