Mine doesn't have 320? 100, 200, 400 etc
another thing though, 50mm is a bitch to focus perfectly. Damn it was annoying.

Dunno why you're trying to get on my case about how I see my photos mate, but you can stop now.

Oh, I thought it did. That's strange. I'd imagine it would be able to cycle through them, considering it's essentially a standard.

Just trying to help. I'm trying to show you that 100 isn't necessary, especially when you're scraping by on light.
I'll stop now.
like I said, as far as i'm concerned enough light gets through thats needed. Though I apprechiate the help I just didn't like the way you phrased "400 is so unusably noisy." seemed like you were taking the piss.

When you put a :v: after "I am aware of what settings I shoot with", it wasn't exactly polite. Sorry if there's a misunderstanding. I'm done if you are, lets not clog the thread with petty arguments.
man the emote was to make it seem like i wasn't just being arrogant, dammit.
Yeah, but if anyone has anything nice to say about my pictures it would be good. Not a great confidence booster all this negative stuff, even if it's only to help :v:
They're great portraits, looking through your flickr, 0016 caught my eye.
The light is nice and soft, and positioned nicely. Your shots gave me a good feel for his personality.
Your car shots are just plain envious by the way. I wish I was that good at shooting cars.
Thanks man, [img]http://static.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img] when you lowering your mk4 then, can see alot of arch gap :P
ISO 400 on my D60 gets enough noise to annoy me, I am aware of what settings I shoot with :v:
are you shooting in RAW with a good converter (like ACR/Lightroom) because that's pretty absurd
this is for anyone lacking inspiration, its from a book that I'm currently reading

it was just a quick workup I did last second for a banner, didn't care for a lot of the technical minor details. I know the colors are still overly warm but that's just how that area was, cooling it down made it feel odd.
also before anyone asks it was the liquify tool.

Here's some from when it snowed here last Christmas.
Walking at 4am whilst really high.
I love taking photographs of my friends.

that one is cool, I might go out tomorrow night and try that.
and for the love of god please don't use facebook to host your photos!
A) they rape your photos with their compression
B) they claim all rights to the photo once it's uploaded
Yeah, I understand this, but these photographs are really for the enjoyment of my friends.
They're all on facebook and love to see them - which makes me happy.
I weighed up the pros and cons a while ago about the copyright thing. I realise they take the copyright but I still have the originals which I can use in any way - the service it offers for me to show my friends the photographs I take of them (I always have my camera on me, always dragging them around to places, getting them to pose and sometimes intruding on their personal space) is like a thank you from me.
I guess it's just a price to pay.
Thanks by the way!
I don't have a facebook account but I have heard that flickr integrates very well with facebook now.

(the photos are "on facebook" without being owned by facebook)

That one is very cool. The street lamp is just extremely distracting.

If you could, change the horizon on that panorama. It's kind of distracting that it's not straight. Other than that, nice!

Personally I think it looks more interesting tilted, horizontal panoramas are too generic.
I honestly didn't notice it until a friend pointed it out, I will do that soon and upload the results!

You could see it that way but I personally find it distracting.
