So the blue shoe has red spots in the perforations.
So just trying out my new camera. Only thing worth taking pictures of was my cat

the man at asda must hate me because he lopped off half my photos, and they look generally noisy and shit. Thats what comes of using cheap kodak ISO400 film I guess (only a quid).
Anyway, most of these are shit by your standards, but it's the first roll i got developed and I have never shot manual before (manual focus and aperture, camera can auto expose)

The grainy feel actually gives the second picture it's own style.
I didn't add any grain or do ANY post, these were straight onto imgur just resized.

Don't eat out, ever. Mac and cheese it up. Grab the cheapest insurance policy you can, then ride a bike and only drive when you really have to. Fuck TV, You have an internet connection. Google shopping results, sort by lowest price first (I once found an obscure store selling $80 handlebars for 50). Take 10% of any and all income (after taxes) and put it into a 'do whatever the fuck I want account'. CFL's, yo. [sp]Buy drugs in bulk.[/sp] Don't own a credit card, only use the debit to take out cash. Craigslist hustle. Keep up with car maintenance, and don't be afraid to splurge on nice oil/tires/etc, you end up saving in the long run.
Basically, be Hank Hill with your money. You'd be surprised at how fast it adds up.
Side note: I may not be good at it, but photography is the main activity in my life. While my peers are out buying the latest call of duty or modding cars, I'm buying photo gear. Almost all of my 'leisure money' goes into it.
if anyone is good with cc, can you do so? because i'd like some on my photos. It's all about learning
Looks like you've got a good handle on it. Just remember to stay aware of large chunks of color on the borders of your frame. Don't cut things off, even if its just in the background. You've probably heard it before, but composing a photograph is like cutting shapes of colored paper and arranging them.
e.g: The top of the '3 car stop' sign is cut off.
Oh yes, didn't see that.
And the viewfinder in this thing is so BIG. When I try out the EOS 1000D, i'm like, what this is tiny and dull. Damn crop sensors and pentamirrors!
I've developed $10 film with $10 special processing and still gotten my film fucking cut in the middle.

Haha it was more of a joke but thanks for the advice :D
The thing is, I'd love to invest all of my money in photography. It's, just like yours is, my main source of money spending. The problem is though that I have just too much other things to buy and pay for that are more needed like a car. I'm not poor, I just have other priorities at the moment. Which I don't like, but that's life at the moment.

What camera are you using? Unless it's the lens; everything is so clear.
OMG bopie you are me but instead you are bopie
I read that as "you are me but instead you are a bopie"
I instantly started thinking of a "bopie" would be. First thing that came to mind was Bert and Ernie.

I like the last one alot
Bit noisey, but no tripod so I set it ontop of my car. Pretty cool as the sky was pretty dark.

You think so? the ice, despite out of focus just makes it pretty cold, my fingers was numb when I was done and I wasn't out 5 minutes. Totally agree! :)

I totally forgot that I tried my friends 300mm f/4L IS a while ago, was a fun lens, but too short on a full-frame to take pictures of birds unless you are damn close...
Too big and heavy and expensive to justify buying it for my use, I'd get the 200mm 2.8L for FF as a "short" tele probably if I needed one.

Click for big.
Here is two shots I took while I was on vacation in London.
And no, I'm not doing the black and white = instant artistic. I just feel that the colors are distracting and takes the focus away from what I want to achieve with the picture.

Some C&C:
It annoys me because it isn't sharp. But the composition is great! And I love the tones and the feel it has. But why would you put (your?) name on it like that? It kinda ruin it.
