Would you still be present if your Father died way before?

A tought on that whole ''soul'' theory, ( wich I don't believe in )
Case 1 where everything goes ''fine'': Your father you'd have in this life died before he met your mom, but your soul was born from another mother with the same characteristics etc. Just in another ''vessel''.
Case 2 Your father you'd have in this life died before he met your mom, but your soul was born from another mother. During pregnancy however, a mugger smacks your mom in the stomach, damaging your embryo and making you severely mentally retarded. You won't have the same characteristics as in case 1', because the vessel this soul would reside in doesn't has the capabilities anymore.
The chaos theory says no.
Think about it like this:
Your mother, she's the construction company tasked to build a house
Now, she already has an egg ready to go, the mortar if you will.
But, she needs sperm to attack to the egg, or bricks.
Mr. A, your dad, is who ultimately provided your sperm, or bricks.
Let's say his company made extra tough bricks, that came in either blue, red, yellow, etc.
But, if Mr. B made you, he'd use different bricks.
His are weaker, and also come in a rainbow.
Mr. C, for diversity's sake, had bricks the shape of dicks.
Rainbow dicks.
If Mr A. built you, then you'd have--Mom's mortar, a's bricks, of 1 random color
Mrb built you, then --Mom's mortar, b's bricks, 1 of random color
Mr. C-- mom's mortar, c's brickdicks, 1 random color
Or was that a cluster fuck of innuendo?
I'm sorry but this is pretty stupid. If your father died, the sperm that he would otherwise have shot into your mother wouldn't be there. You see where this is getting?
