People threw a bitchfit over that, but mass majority agree that PS+ is a good service worth $5 a month as opposed to LIVE with ads plastered everywhere and tons of content locking. ZachPL disagrees with me. I had a 360 without LIVE for 3 months before trading it for a PS3. Even without Gold, ads were everywhere and I could only do like 3 things outside of playing games. Everything else was content locked. Any other service accessible through the Xbox? Locked. I could do literally nothing except watch things streamed from my PC or play games, of which I had none left that I wanted to play.

I just want consoles to be able to play games, I hate all the other crazy features that jack up the price. Literally it's only function needs to be receiving disks and reading them to play a game. Kickass commercial though

Fun commercial. I enjoyed the focus on the games but it threw in a bit of "Oh btw, we do literally everything."

I compare it to what I'm currently getting (on PC and PS3) and if the advantages over those two systems are really worth $5 per month. The only advantage PS+ really has is free games, but there are two reasons why I don't consider that enough. 1. Sony introduced that idea when PS+ wasn't required for anything, they had to have something to add value. I wouldn't be surprised if they would start adding worse and worse games now that everyone is going to have it anyway, no matter how bad the games are. 2. For $5 I can get a shitload of PC games every month and I can decide which ones and I can just not pay the $5 when I don't want them.

imo the playstation commercial was just as cheesy as this one, but somehow got like 4x as much praise here? they're both commercials trying to get you to spend hundreds of dollars on a piece of hardware, and they're both entertaining to watch. what's the big deal?

I liked it, although people are going to purposefully dislike it because it's Microsoft and not Sony. This didn't convince me to get an Xbone (nor is it really it's purpose, it's just a commercial of stuff Microsoft has already revealed), however it's pretty good.

I thought the commercial was great until "XBox on" then it just sucked.
