I haven't played a Pokemon game since I was 12, and I don't really ever plan to play another any time soon. As far as I'm concerned, it's dead.

Pokemon doesn't have the Simpsons value I like to call it. It just needs to die.

I'd like to see something a bit more freeform, where you could join team whatever if you want to...sort of like Fallout.

Someone posted something earlier in the thread about choosing your starting village; what about choosing everything you start with (starter pokemon are decided by which village/town you chose to start at) and then you can do your own story from there? People complaining about deteriorating originality are forgetting that every single generation has its good and bad. I mean, you can't really praise things like the voltorb, geodude, and ditto for taking lots of effort to create. Imagine the backlash if they were shown as new Pokemon today. The ice cream cone one was a bit silly though.

Originals and 2nd gen were where it should have ended. They newed to go back, and make a GOOD Pokemon game. Like a third person Pokemon game. And have animations mixed with rag dolls like gta4.

Have a mass earthquake or something in which all regions are collapsed into the sea except for Kanto and Johto, bringing extinction to all Pokemon from Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Isshu. Then base the Gen VI games off of Kanto/Johto like Gen II and Gen IV were.

In my eyes it's dead, but I would hate to see it come to an end. I'm sure most of us on this forum grew up with Pokemon. I'd like to see the succeeding generations grow up with it, too.
