It seems to be interference. Unless anyone wants to go over there and scan the airwaves, your not going to get far with throwing theory after theory out of your ass.
-snip becuase we don't need it.-

Anyone broadcasting over that frequency in your area could be sending those signals.
Just a possibility.
Okay, last post before i go all internet detective on the signals ass, My conclusion Radio enhancement tower. There i said it. I hear the beeps go up and down in pitch meaning freqency adjustments.
..Its probably just some drunk Russian pissing around with you. They do it all the time.
Someone translate it!

Your avatar fits your distress.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section or hastily typed.
I've been monitoring the transmission for several hours, after what sounded like a television or radio was placed close to the mic, and objects could be heard falling near the mic.
Several minutes ago, UVB-76 transmitted a sequence of Morse code signals.
I'm uploading my recordings now.
You can listen here: http://uvb-76.blogspot.com/

Here's some of the recordings I've gathered over the past few hours:
http://filesmelt.com/dl/recording1-21-47-len.mp3
Start time: 02:31 PM Eastern
End time: 02:52 PM Eastern
Here's the morse code transmission: http://filesmelt.com/dl/trans3morse-03-33pm_eastern.mp3
Recorded at 3:33PM Eastern; the actual transmission begins around 2:45 in the file. Also notice the beep just before and immediately after the morse code transmission.
I have a semi cleaned up copy of the Morse code you provided. Still working over it to see if I can decipher it. I'm using a Spectrum Analyzer.

Meanwhile....somewhere in Nevada.
Someone is swearing a lot at the station because it keeps beeping out the cuss words. Damn. Whoever it is has been repeatedly swearing every 2 seconds for the past 20 minutes now. What the fuck?
Someone was on /x/
Why doesn't someone just go there?
My old speakers used to pick up Chinese radiochatter.
Either it was radiochatter or a news report because it did sound like it.
Just started listening to the feed. If the buzzing doesn't make me crap myself I will monitor it for half hour while I write :P
[editline]11:30PM[/editline]
I keep jumping every time it makes a little popping noise. It sounds like someone on a Vent or TS channel when they move their mic about. Is that the dropping stuff noise people were talking about?
This feels strange.
The live feed doesn't work, just says waiting for video.
Live feed is fine, rampage, for me at least. check your side.

I'll try in a different browser.
All is good now, I downloaded the .m3u file and opened with itunes.
Has anyone cleaned up the morse to the point that they can understand it? We've already had a few people offer to translate it if someone figures out what it says in Russian :/
Just beep beep beep :frown:
The last burst of Morse was apparently from a third party, not from the UVB. I'm not sure about this one, but it might not be Russian.
[editline]11:43PM[/editline]
Yeah, I know its just beeping atm. Hoping for something better before I go to bed. :(
[editline]11:43PM[/editline]
Although I keep hearing a noise like a door shutting. Probably static.
I hope we find out something.
Speaking of broadcasts, this website is interesting: http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/
But I can't find UVB-76 there.

The guy is saying that someone else is doing it. (4 different sources, in fact)
Wow, this is kinda weird. The beeps sound like they're choking. It kind of goes *gluckBEEPgluckBEEP*
Whoa... there is a weird sound inbetween beeps now.
The beeps are so inconsistent, different pitches and irregular intervals.
Oh god, what is that sound now....
