Hey no one's ever made a report about going there, and from pictures it looks just forested and not really defended. Worth a shot. And it's not like there wouldn't be warning signs if you're not supposed to go, just turn back if you see them.
It's forested, it's hidden. If a gunshot is fired - nobody will be there to hear it. And since this is russia - nobody is going to post warning signs anywhere: you come in - you don't come out. I just heard squeaks again xD
Hearing some faint morse code.
Most likely an interference.
Most likely an interference.
Doesn't mean i don't hear it. :smug:
there must have been british special forces or something down there by now lol.
Doubt it, imagine Spetsnaz attacking BBC Radio stations. Until this station is proven to be a threat - no action can be taken, no matter how suspicious it can be. EDIT: 3 skipped beeps

[editline]12:17PM[/editline] i bet you'll just find some scientists going "what the heck do you want here"
you obviously dont know what us british are like
I'm originally Russian. I reside in Scotland (been there for 4 years). EDIT: wow ninjad.

A second ago it sounded like a plane flew by. [editline]11:34AM[/editline] Right now: A whistle that sounds like ones on old fashioned kettles, when the water is brought to a boil.
I don't understand anything in this thread.
If it is in fact a number station, then there's probably a gentlemen agreement among the lines of: "If you don't fuck with our stations, we don't fuck with your stations".
Anyone thought about this - that buzzing that used to be at 1 minute to the hour - WHY was it there? And WHY did it stop?
I believe it is truly safe to rule out that the station is used for Ionosphere research, as Russia already has a publicly acknowledged facility. It would be illogical to admit the purpose of one obviously capable station while refusing to even acknowledge the existence of the other. The UVB-76 facility also hardly appears capable of Ionosphere research. Look at the HAARP facility, then look at the UVB-76 facility. Clearly there are distinct difference between the two, and by comparison, the UVB-76 facility looks like it would never be capable of anything related to Ionosphere research.
Agreed. It doesn't look like a doppler, there's no dome, it can't be something reflective because there's no reciever dish. Someone's bullshittin' us.
It's some dudes with a truck and they're having a good time
It's some dudes with a truck and they're having a good time
Inside of a radio station? After almost 30 years? A truck that buzzes every 2.3 seconds and occasionally speaks Russian? God damn, Herby went through hell.
Maybe someone infiltrated a secret russian base, and placed the mic in an underground bunker. Only yet to be discovered...
You know that Russia is bullshiting you? Russia is pros when it come to disinformation, meaning that your all being fed false infomation so they can divert you from other secrets they have

I remember seeing something along the lines that the Duga arrays were better off for "Ionosphere Research" due to the immense power of them, but Russia has thier own dedicated ones that look quite similiar to ours in Alaska. We know next to nothing except for some translated call signs. Everything on here is pure speculation.
